Conference Convenience makes this a must!

This was our 2nd time to stay at this specific listing and the convenience of the location is top notch. A quick walk to a large pool perfect for little kids (nothing deeper than 4 ft and a zero entry section) and the Baytowne Conference Center made it the perfect place for us to be. I was able to spend time by the pool with my family in between work commitments during the day. Nestled closer than you would think is the Baytowne Wharf complete with shops and places to eat. Great spot!

Condo is nice and comfy. Bed was very comfortable, loved there were 2 bathrooms in this unit!!! Owner called to confirm our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful trip. Condo is located right between the pool & Baytown wharf village.

clean, easy access, my only feedback would be to suggest a new shower head but that's not something that would keep me from staying or recommending this place. Don't forget your extra towels!

Hi Cortnee, thanks for the suggestion about the showerheads. I actually just replaced both of them recently. Also, as for the towels, I know you and I spoke about this after you left the review, but it wouldn’t let you change this in your review....there are always plenty of extras in the bathroom cabinets under the sinks.

Great Location

As someone working a conference in the Baytown Conference Center choosing this listing was the best decision I made. No worries with parking or transportation because I was steps away and already parked. We took our small children to the pool everyday - the zero entry and shallow areas made it their favorite spot to be. The ability to have a small kitchen and do laundry in the room saved our week. The host was also great to work with. Will stay here again when the conference season rolls back around!

The one bedroom unit was more than adequate; the second bathroom with a shower came in handy. Washer and dryer in the unit were also utilized. Short walk to Conference center and Baytown wharf. Unit is on the second floor with a balcony above the hotel veranda; this results in a lot of noise from the revelers below. If you want a unit close to everything; this is for you; if you want a quiet unit this may not be your best choice

Great condo, central..but can be noisy

The condo is AWESOME! Well appointed, comfortable and the best bed we've ever slept on in a rental! It is within walking distance of Baytowne Wharf and all of the restaurants. The condo includes a pass to access the resort tram, which can take you to the beach. The downside...the condo overlooks the lawn. When there is nice weather, the conference center next door uses the lawn for meals. The caterers roll carts over the herringbone brick outside at all hours. I'd recommend earplugs/noise cancelling earbuds if you're sensitive to sound.

Vacay Cut Short

Owner was very nice. The 1st night there my sister and I noticed dust 2” thick. Pulled back blanket on bed there was black hair everywhere. Black hair on the sofa, chairs and floor. Called owner she explained that the last person had some dogs. She explained that the house keeper stayed over to try to get all the hair. The 2nd night, eyes swollen and itching all over. Sent pictures to owner and messages. She didn’t respond. Looks like she has me blocked from calling. Beware! Sometimes it’s best to rent a little nicer and not worry about money!

Perfect Condo for family of 5

Absolutely loved the spacious condo. It had everything we needed for cooking, laundry and comfort living. We spent a week and it felt as comfortable as being at home! The master bedroom bed was so comfortable and I’m picky. The pullout couch was large/ queen size and super comfortable. My 25 year old Step daughter said it was the best she’s ever slept on. Condo was perfectly furnished, great air conditioning, plenty of clean towels for showering. Couldn’t say enough great things about this condo! The pool was so nice and relaxing g and we loved having access to 2 hot tubs right by the pool. Nice outdoor patio off the condo as well! The location in Baytowne wharf was so amazing!!! It’s only a couple minutes walk to restaurants, shops, bars, zip lining, ice cream and even a convenient store. The shuttle service to the beach everyday was so nice. We could enjoy our cocktails without worrying about driving and the shuttle busses showed up very fast! I will definitely be staying again. We went to crab island in the middle of the week and it was a short easy drive of only about 15 minutes. Location is perfect, gated, safe and convenient to everything in Destin! Mona was so nice and helpful. She is very informative, easy to reach, fast responder and super friendly! Can’t wait to make reservations again soon!!
