Absolutely beautiful! The host's were amazing and kind. The cabin was gorgeous and had the cutest antiques and cozy touches throughout. Luxurious and relaxing with amazing views of the sunrise! Cant wait to stay again!
This little cabin, though somewhat remote, had everything we look for in a place away from home - clean, scenic and well appointed (lots of real antiques.) The owner was the consummate host.
The cabin was comfortable and well equipped for our 2 night stay. We enjoyed watching the deer in the morning and the stars at night. Communication was great with Mike and everything was easy.
We really enjoyed our stay. Sitting out on the front porch and watching the deer and the countryside was a wonderful way to spend the morning and afternoon. The only and I mean the only tiny problem was the rocky driveway - but that was only a short drive.
Our second time here. The cabin has just what we need. It’s comfortable and quaint. And the location is good for daytime activities.
We live an hour and a half drive away, so it’s convenient for a weekend getaway. I expect we will be returning.

This was an amazing property and cabin for two. If you want to unwind, disconnect from everyday life with zero light pollution this is your place to stay. Mike and Max were top notch - from meeting us in the driveway (which it was well after dark when we arrived) to checking in on us throughout our stay, this property was nothing short of outstanding. And I cannot go without mentioning the number of deer that roam the property on the daily. The cabin itself was everything that two people need, from a well-furnished kitchen, to some local culture displayed on the walls, it was exactly what we needed. Southern hospitality at its finest!
We love this cute log cabin for our stay in Round Top. Its perfect-Mike and his wife go above and beyond. Thank you for watching over our people during the shows. We all feel so safe here. 💕
Our Host and Hostess Mike and Max did EVERYTHING within their power to make us feel welcome and provided for. Exploring their property was a great treat! The cabin was cozy and filled with all the essentials! Thank you for making it an extra special weekend!
We loved our stay and the accommodations. My dog had a blast running free. We thought the place was just what we were looking for; comfortable, clean, cozy and simple.
We cooked on the grill and spent time on La Grange. A simple, but highly enjoyable weekend. And Mike and Max were accommodating making their 20 acre property fully available to explore.
We are planning to return again when our schedules permit.
Just what was needed. This place is awesome for our trip to Smithville , Fayetteville , Carmine and Paige lots of antique hunting . The host Mike greeted us on the 1st day showed us everyone. This had all the amenities you need soaps , shampoo , botteled water and my wife loved the luxurious towels. Your morning coffee on the porch you had the company of deer , turkey , squirrels visiting the feeder set up close by . Definitely would be a place to go back too.
Even growing up in a rural gorgeous community, the experience of LaGrange will stay in my heart. Would love to live there or in the area..
Mike was so kind as well as a joy to talk with. Loved going about his property and then our forays in town at antique shops as well as the museum. Hiking/walking trails.
Well honestly..was all memorable indeed.
