The property was very clean! Check in and check out was seamless and easy. Communication was great! My only negative comment which is of no fault to the owners is that the beach is a good 10 min walk up and then down then across then down again. We mostly stayed at the pool on the bayside which was wonderful!

Perfect location. I wish there was supplies to clean such as a broom, Clorox wipes, toliet cleaner. It would have been nice to of had bath mats in the bathrooms. Any issues were quickly addressed. Would stay again.

Overall, we had a nice stay here. We didn't have any urgent needs and the management company gave clear directions ahead of check in and check out. We had enough space for our family of four and used the kitchen often. We appreciated the washer and dryer in the space. We also spent a lot of time at the lazy river when the beach was closed due to a tropical storm. Most of our complaints are nit picky, such as minor maintenance issues and wish for more amenities such as better toilet paper and having a pizza cutter. The view was a little oversold- the bay view is mostly marina and the bedroom balcony overlooked unattractive parking lots. However we were comfortable and love Destin West, so I still recommend the property.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate you choosing Best Beach Getaways and are glad we had the opportunity to host you at Destin West Pelican 501. Glad the pre-arrival directions were helpful and that the kitchen, washer/dryer, and lazy river met your needs while the beach was closed. We’re sorry the minor maintenance items and some supplies fell short—thank you for the specific suggestions. We’ll share your feedback with our housekeeping and maintenance teams so they can address repairs and consider adding basic kitchen items like a pizza cutter and upgraded supplies. We also appreciate your note about the view and will pass that along to the property team. We hope to welcome you back to Destin West soon. Team BBG

Relaxing retreat

The condo was perfect for our family of four. Loved the view of the pool from our balcony. The condo was clean and had pretty much everything that we needed. The kitchen was pretty well equipped. We could have used a few larger bowls or Tupperware containers to store fruit in but otherwise we had everything we needed for the week.
