Blanca Bungalow was better than advertised. This pet friendly bungalow is situated in the perfect location that provides a warm friendly neighborhood with that appreciates your furry friends. If you like cook and relax, the kitchen has all the utensils you need. The local shops and relaxed dining within walking distance is a hidden feature of Blanco Bungalow. The dog beach is a must experience attraction and within 20 minutes from the bungalow. We have two South African Boerboels and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We highly recommend Blanca Bungalow.
We had a wonderful stay at Blanca’s bungalow. The accommodations were very comfortable, it was clean and the manager was very responsive. It is a great location within walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants. Highly recommend it!
Loved the fenced yards. We were able to let the dog enjoy the outside. Great location to dog park and restaurants. Will definitely consider returning to this property.
Charming little bungalow. Located a nice area, plenty of little shops and restaurants. In walking distance, beds were comfortable. Loved the back patio! Not far from the beaches, not far from the Marine base, not far from the airport, really just a great stay!

This house was perfect for moving my daughter in to SDSU. The location was great. Andrea was very responsive to any questions I had. Parking was street parking but I never had a problem being close to the house. Full size washer & dryer. Kitchen was very well stocked. Shower pressure was fantastic. Air purifier on site was much appreciated. Privacy in both the front and back porch areas. Would definitely stay at this home again.

About the host
Hosted by Andrea Engstrom
I'm not just a host, I am a guest. I've traveled the world, staying in every type of short-term rental you can imagine. I've spared no detail to create a home away from home experience for pet owners visiting San Diego. We are responsible homeowners and hosts. We buy local and spend local and encourage you to do the same.
Why they chose this property
Sunset Magazine referred to South Park as “one of the coolest neighborhoods.” It's a centrally located hidden alcove with some of the highest-rated restaurants, the largest off-leash dog park, the best pubs, and some of the coolest locally-owned shops San Diego has to offer – and it is ALL within steps of the Blanca Bungalow. South Park is a 5-10 minute drive to Balboa Park, Golf, San Diego Zoo, miles of canyon hikes, Downtown, Gaslamp, Convention Center, Petco Park, San Diego Airport, Coronado, and Old Town.
What makes this property unique
This is a real home that I've curated for your short-term stay. It has one-of-a-kind vintage pieces paired with modern convenience and comfort. Our neighbors are respectful and friendly and likely to spark up a chat and offer recommendations.
