Great Boston Group Stay

This place was perfect for our needs and was so nice inside. It was great for our big group and had all the amenities. The location was alright but close enough to the transit so we could get downtown relatively easy. Would stay again!

Thanks for your stay. It was a pleasure having you. Parking is usually not an issue. There were constructions on site during your stay which made some streets not available for parking. Perhaps you sis not have a chance to explore the area... There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. For example Restaurant Cesaria, pollo center, breakfast place, grocery shop are all within 8 minutes walking distance to the right of our house. There is also a convenient store right in front of the house.

Fenway Park Spartan Race

We traveled to Boston to participate/attend a stadium race at Fenway. Location was great, approximately 15 minutes from the park. I was familar with the area and Dorchester so was comfortable in the neighborhood. The apartment was very attractive and clean. Wish we could have used the backyard, balcony and grill.

Questionable location

The inside of the property was as advertised, but there is a reason there are no images for the front of the building and no views outside of the windows from inside. The main entry to the build is left open leaving only interior doors to provide secure entrance. There is also a reason there are no front exterior images for this listing. The house next door was abandoned with the all the windows broken out and the yard is extremely over grown. There were abandon strollers and carts in the yard. The area in general did not make my group comfortable, but the immediate surroundings of this building made it impossible for us to feel safe. We abounded this within 10 mins of entry and had to find other arrangements in a different area. The owner was respectful and understanding about the situation, but only gave us a refund on the cleaning fee.

Buyer beware

This property needs lots of work. Walls are paper thin. Their property upstairs was rented to 10 college girls who were partying all night every night. Awful. Called owner and he informed us it was against the rules and he was sorry.

Eder was very easy to deal with and gave me detailed instructions on how to get into the property. The house is in an ok neighborhood and I would say this is probably the nicest house on the block. The apartment was tidy upon arrival and everything was fully stocked which was nice (towels, silverware/ pots & pans etc). The back yard had a bunch of seating which was great because it was a nice weekend. If I was going to be taking another weekend trip with a large group I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I would recommend car pooling because the street parking is hit or miss. I think 14 people (the advertised max) would be a tight fit for this space but I was with a group of 10, including me, and we made it work with one extra air mattress.

Eder was a wonderful host! We had an issue with our key at first and he came over right away to assist us. He was extremely accommodating with every request. We were a group of 8 and were extremely comfortable with the house. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great weekend in Boston.

Perfect house for Staying close to Boston

Perfect house in perfect location as described with Hotel like amenities such as extra towels, Kitchenette, Coffee, Dishwasher. The House is right in the heart of dorchester and is perfect place to be when in boston. South bay center is just 6-8 mins drive for movies, house shopping etc, Boston downtown is 15-20 min drive or can catch a bus right in front of house or catch a train in 10-12 mins walk. The temperature is well maintained and the rooms are spacious enough to keep luggage and bed is perfectly made and house is cleaned well regularly. Eder as a host is perfect, friendly and very accommodating. We were lucky to meet him and his family and everyone are very adorable and perfect hosts when around. He keeps the house clean on regular basis, answers all your questions and always ready to help, he is very soft spoken and kind person. All Queries are answered almost immediately, The Internet is perfect, the living room has a tv for entertainment, Kitchen is well maintained and has lot of things for us to use. Overall i would recommend his place either you go for work, or short trip or studying around or traveling for any other reason. Keep the Good work up. Definitely staying next time i am in town. Lots of good places to eat in boston and around, our favorite was Nirvana's, Fire and Ice and Shanti and Quincy market is good place to hang around for shopping and eatery.

Nicely finished inside a local's place

The Leader House was a nice place on the first floor. The rooms were nice with a total of four beds. It definitely is not a tourist-y area so if you are comfortable staying with all the locals then this place is for you! Eder was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

This property is in a great area. Perfect location with lots of amenities and transportation. You can walk 12 minutes to Savin Hill Red line T-station and subway will take about 12 minutes ride to the Center of Boston-Downtown Crossing.
There are 2 buses literally right across from the house and from there you can go to the historical places in Boston.
Bus #15 rides about 20 minutes to Ruggles T station to catch orange line subway. The train rides about 10 minutes to the center of Boston- Downtown crossing.
Bus # 17 rides about 15 minutes to Andrew T station Red line subway. From there the train rides about 8-10 minutes to the center of Boston-downtown crossing.
