The townhouse was clean and comfortable. The area was very quiet, and the host responded to our inquires promptly. It was about 1/2 an hour away from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
The home was super clean when we arrived. Everything we needed was provided. It is pet friendly but you can't tell if there was ever a dog in it. We loved it and would stay here again.
Clean property. Nice location. Easy check in process. Wished they had a few more amenenties (like coffee). Other than that, great stay with very comfortable beds.
The house was accurate as seen online. It was clean & beds were comfortable. The middle shower didn’t have the best pressure. Overall it was clean & appeared just like pictures online. The Lobster Pound was wonderful-nearby
Bedrooms very small but comfortable. Could have used extra blankets and small things like kleenex and salt. Pans were dirty but everything else was clean. Property manager responded quickly to questions. Easy access to bar harbor and acadia
We used this place as a base for our Acadia \ Bar Harbor activities, so it fit our needs well. The place was clean and the beds and showers were comfortable. It was a bit sparse, none of the extras we have been used to with most vrbo stays, such as throws in the common room. The dryer alarm is extremely loud, but you can shut it off. It was fine for our needs but i wouldn't want to spend a large amount of time at the house.
This was the perfect place to access Acadia—30 min. from our door to the top of Cadillac Mtn.—and for our family of four to share meals together. The living room was comfortable and the bedrooms were quiet. Be sure to bring any food needed for the kitchen, including coffee, oil, etc. We would definitely stay here again!
Villa was very clean and provided all basic amenities. Not really a complaint… but WiFi was awful… could just be the area. Would have loved some extra blanket's. And no dressers which made unpacking interesting and creative. I would definately recommend.
Overall, we had a great stay. The bedrooms are small but as pictured. I knew they were small going into it. It would be nice to have some suitcase racks so you’re not digging around in a suitcase laying on the floor. Everything was really clean. The location is great, only about 30 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The WiFi is spotty but I think that is just the area. As another reviewer mentioned, there were no check out instructions. We loved the backyard area and made use of the back deck and chairs.
This property was very clean and the furnishings and beds were very comfortable. The location was an easy drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The kitchen was not well stocked. Communication with the property owner was nonexistent. I never received a response when I inquired about the possibility of an earlier check-in. Also, we never received any checkout instructions.
Place was dirty, infested with bugs Asian beetles to be specific, air conditioning upstairs when you turned it on smelled like sewer, chain link on back door was broken and owner had been aware. Came home from dinner and the back door was open. Let owner know about it as well as the infestation. He replaced a light bulb and the back lock. Never addressed the infestation. I contacted VRBO and VRBO reached out to owner because we left a day early due to our youngest having an allergic reaction to the bug infestation and the owner denied any refund. It had been escalated to the health and safety team at VRBO and I have contacted my credit card company.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Stayed three nights at this spacious and comfortable place with our dog while visiting the area in October. On the upside, with three bedrooms upstairs, a large and comfortably furnished living room, full kitchen, laundry and 2 ½ baths, the unit provided more than enough space and plenty of comfort. Furnishings and bedding were all good quality. Although there’s nothing within walking distance, the location is convenient for visiting the attractions in the area and close enough to Ellsworth’s commercial district for various amenities. We would have been pleased with a few more house amenities (e.g. only one TV, located downstairs, none in the bedrooms; no bar soaps or shampoos, no facial tissues, limited kitchenware, etc.) Like another guest pointed out, we, too, had an issue with the ladybug beetles, which seemed to cluster inside the living room window at times. While we found them generally innocuous and inoffensive, I understand that some may have an issue with allergies and they are clearly an issue that should be dealt with. (Note that this had nothing to do with cleanliness as the unit was very clean.) Unlike with some of the better VRBO properties we’ve rented, we received no communication from the host other than simple keypad and WiFi codes. Simple notes on the house and check-out expectations would have been nice.
