McKinley House - Garage, Gym and Fenced Back Yard

McKinley House is a new way to stay. Our philosophy is simple--why pay for stuff you don't need? Like for space you won't use because there are just two of you? And how about deposits, linen charges or crazy cleaning fees? Isn't traveling expensive enough? We thought so too, and designed our house to meet your needs--whatever they are. You always get a private stay in a place to call your own at a fair price. From one to seven guests, McKinley House expands to meet your needs. Our base price includes two guests.

McKinley House is located in a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood just minutes from I-40 and I-27. In total, the house is 1,226 sq. ft. and has a living area, dining area, kitchen, two bathrooms, laundry room, patio, outdoor grill, fenced backyard with kids play area, and up to three bedrooms. Enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi and Fire TV with Max and Prime Video.

Guests have access to the gym, sauna and garage at no additional cost.

When booking, you are getting a private stay. Bedrooms are available depending on your needs and the number of guests you book, so please be sure to indicate the total number of guests who will be staying overnight.

KING SUITE: The King Suite is a 192 sq. ft. room featuring a king size bed with 14" plush memory foam mattress, nightstand, lamp, sleep sound machine with alarm clock, dresser, mirror, computer desk with lamp and chair, 39" flatscreen TV and ceiling fan. The suite has a private bathroom with a shower and a large walk-in closet. This room accommodates two guests.

THE QUEEN: The Queen Room is a 140 sq. ft. room featuring a queen size bed with firm mattress, nightstand, lamp, sleep sound machine with alarm clock, mirror, 39" flatscreen TV and ceiling fan. The room has a shared hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination and has a closet. This room accommodates two guests.

THE DOUBLE: The Double Room is a 116 sq. ft. room featuring a twin size bunk bed with 11" plush memory foam mattress over a double size bed with pillow top mattress, dresser and ceiling fan. The room has a shared hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination and has a closet. This room can accommodate three guests and is perfect for kids.

Great stopover!

My wife and I were road tripping to Dallas for a friend’s wedding and Perry’s place was the perfect pit stop. With a private back yard and little touches that refreshed us for the next day’s drive, we’re happy to have booked this house!

Best place to stay in Amarillo

I stay here everytime I pass through Amarillo as it is the perfect location to unwind. Quiet, safe neighborhood, clean and comfortable house with all the amenities you’d need for either a short or extended stay.

Perfect quick stop in Amarillo

The McKinley House was perfect for our quick stop home from Durango, CO. I love the fact that our car could easily fit into the garage. House was clean and had plenty of room for our family of 5. Check in / Check out was easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Overnight

What a restful overnight stop we had here on our road trip! Conveniently located off I-40 in a quiet, residential neighborhood, this home provided everything we needed to get a great night’s sleep. Comfortable beds, refreshing showers, cool air conditioning and a great yard for our dog…it was absolutely ideal. Highly recommend!

Great House in Amarillo

My husband and I stayed for a few days while visiting family. The house was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, and safe. We really liked being able to park our car in the garage versus parking on the street. The check-in/check-out process was very easy. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect place to stay in Amarillo!

A very clean and well appointed house in a nice, safe neighborhood! Super easy check in process, a spotless home with all the amenities you may need and property managers ready to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We commute between South Texas and Colorado frequently and wish we had found this place sooner! Ditch the hotel and stay in a comfortable, quiet, safe and clean home with easy interstate access, or if you’re in Amarillo for longer, this is still the place to stay! We’ll be back for sure!

Short but Sweet

This was just a one night stop over but the home was much more than expected. THE BEDS!!! THE MASTER SUITE The amenities and the way ghe kitchen was stocked (although the onky thing we used was the coffe maker, microwave and refridgerator) It would have been great for anyone staying much longer. Note: The antique car museum only a 1/4 mile away is Great if you like that sort of thing!!!

Anniversary get away

property and location was perfect, there was more than enough choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. we had a good time antiquing although a lot of the stores listed online were closed. except on sixth street route 66 and the golfing was a bust, they wouldn't allow a tee time for two, was told we needed to find and third or fourth to play, if you don't have a foursome i would find a different location outside of Amarillo to play, we did find an 18-hole par three course that was fun all in all, Amarillo and sixth street was neat place to see Thanks again Perry, for letting us stay at your place!!!

Peaceful!

We normally stay at the Red Roof in on cross country road trips, since they allow dogs for no fee. We happened to need to travel over the New Year holiday. We didn't want to risk any loud NYE-celebrating neighbors at a Red Roof this time, so we found this sweet home to be absolutely perfect for our quiet NYE. What drew me to the property when booking was the enclosed yard - perfect for allowing our dog to run around off leash after a long day of driving. The master bed was beautifully soft yet supportive. It was so quiet at night - almost eerily quiet (if you live in a city where there's usually plenty of noise around!) When you walk into the house, you're greeted by a beautiful clean smell. I absolutely loved that and it really made a good first impression and was so relaxing. We were there for a very short time, but we loved every minute. We will definitely stay here again next year on our annual holiday road trip! The one warning I have for anyone that may need to run late at night or walk the dog on the street - the street has no streetlights, so it's very dark. If you're not used to this, come prepared!
