The host was very accommodating!! It was an amazing stay just wish the bug issue would be figured out! We were trapped in with many gnats, mosquitoes, and ants crawling on the walls and ceiling. Overall very beautiful place!!
Solitude in the heart of the brainerd lake chain - comes as advertised. Great stay - highly recommend.

We had a great weekend at this little A-frame. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen really works, the sauna is AWESOME! I am rating this a 4 star just because
My husband and I spent this past weekend at this adorable mini A-frame cabin. We had a great time. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything you need. My husband had acl surgery about 3 months ago and was able to get up and down the loft area just fine. We saw lots of wild life while enjoying time out on the patio area. There's a huge eagles nest just down to road towards the lake. We also saw deer, turkey's and a little red squirrel that joined us for morning coffee. This was also our first time spending time in the brainerd area. We did some exploring and spent Saturday at BIR watching drift cars. Great anniversary weekend!! 100% will stay again.
An absolutely magical place!! With outside temps way below freezing, it was wonderful to come back “home” to a warm and cozy place. It had all we needed from infloor heating, electric fireplace, warm blankets, and a comfy cabin feeling to give us a wonderful weekend.
The cabin and outdoor area were beautifully designed and decorated. This is a really cute place that could be awesome with some thoughtful improvements. Things we loved: the aesthetic, quiet, easy to get to, comfortable bed, good WiFi, well-lit outdoor area.Things that need attention: no reading lamps in sitting area so it’s too dark to read on couch, the small dining table that was pictured in the kitchen area is now squeezed between the couch and wall making it unusable for anything but storage, provided white terry bathmat looked like someone just polished black shoes with it, only one roll of TP in bathroom for 4 nights (found more in a utility closet), duvet cover had lots of holes.THE SAUNA: No instructions so we had to find a YouTube video to turn it on (turn to 3, then back to 1), door didn’t shut all the way so it was drafty, no thermometer but I’m guessing it only got up to 120 after 2 hours, poured water and steam created heat for about a minute the all the steam went out the door, we had to curl up on the top bench because it was so cold on the bottom bench we couldn’t even put our feet on it. Simple, inexpensive fixes would make this place perfect.

About the host
Hosted by Ben T McLean
I grew up and currently reside in Blaine Minnesota but love going up north. My full time job is sales and the thing I have always loved about the profession most is customer service. I interact with my customers on a daily basis and that's something I get to bring to VRBO hosting as well. I'm looking forward to hosting you!
Why they chose this property
I chose this location because of it's central location and the densely wooded acreage. You are close to Brainerd, Crosby, Breezy, and all the great golfing and outdoor recreation that come with this area.
What makes this property unique
How secluded the property feels. There certainly are other homes in the area but the dense tree cover adds a feeling of privacy that is hard to recreate.
