BELA : Coastal Resort Living with Effortless Beach Access
Our value is proven not just by our sensational guests, some of which have been coming for more than 5 years, but also from what we hear. Take for instance a nice quip about a guests' grandson: "He keeps saying his favorite things to do are stay home or go to BELA Cape May" Says a lot and we strive to ensure BELA is generating fond memories for guests and families.
A rare oasis, BELA is nestled within a casual, chipper community overlooking an resort-ready, undiscovered beach on the Delaware Bay. Seclusion is easily abandoned by driving to any number of festive towns, award-wining vineyards, up-and-coming breweries or party-going beach towns; all 10-30 minutes away.
The proximity to the beach can't be beat. Its only 50 feet away! It's so close you can easily keep tabs on everybody regardless if they are are lounging in the water, swimming, building sand castles, chasing crabs, fishing or sunbathing on the third floor.
Turnkey Fun! We provide access to some bikes, chairs, SUP, kayaks, rafts and other assorted beach toys and gear. Even fishing gear.
BELA's multiple levels and various indoor and outdoor conversation areas make for an ideal vacation home, especially for groups. We have 3 bedrooms having full bathrooms (King, Queen, 2 twins which are often pushed together), 1 room with a daybed and the third floor has futons and a pull-out sofa.
The neighborhood is comfortably active; almost exclusively populated by families. The streets are residential and slow, except for beach goers transporting their boats/kayaks/boards and families.
There are a few restaurants within a short walk/bike ride, the famous ones being- beach shack Harpoon Henry's, On the Rocks and 5 West, and the more active Victorian Cape May area is a quick 10 minute drive/cab.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the house, we enjoyed you as a guest!
Repeat guests are always welcomed:) and you get a fun gift.
This home was just what we were looking for… FUN! First trip to Cape May and we found this house Beachy, clean, casual and well appointed. The kitchen was very well stocked, bay beach very accessible and the Bikes & BeachToys were such an added bonus. Property manager was very responsive. Bathrooms are situated a bit strangely - but really wasn’t an issue for us. Back door lock is difficult to lock & unlock but we reported this issue. Would definitely rent this property again!

Thanks so much! Great having you.
The back door is painful because it’s old. We are replacing it next year :)
Great house for a family getaway ! Lots of room for everyone. The garage is filled with fun, bikes, tubes, kayaks, ect. While you dont have the bigger waves in the water as you do on the ocean side, you can kayak
or float around in the water for hours if you want to. It worked very well for the younger children with us.
We could not have been happier staying at Beautiful Bela! The house is clean, roomy and literally on the beach. We brought our adult children and everyone had an incredible time. We were able to enjoy family time with out being in each others way. The house was well equipped with bicycles, beach chairs, and even toys. There were several outdoor areas to relax that were shady at different times of the day if you were taking a beach day off. We also enjoyed the local winery and walking to Harpoons. Our favorite time was watching the incredible sunsets from the top floor covered deck. Looking forward to next year!!!
Lovely house. Perfect for sunsets. Easy access to beach. Host was very responsive and house came with lots of fun extras- games, grill, kayaks, bikes. Would gladly stay again.
House was spacious for our family vacation with our adult children. Relaxing home, beautiful sunsets, and lots of space for everyone to enjoy themselves. Would definitely rent this property again!
Beautiful location, well-stocked home, beds were comfortable, lots of beach gear in the garage, listing was exactly as promised - wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Fabulous home, fabulous views--everything you need (roof top deck, kayaks, paddle board, life jackets, beach chairs, umbrellas, outdoor shower, TVs, sound system etc). We have been to many Jersey shore rentals and this one is BY FAR the best we have ever stayed in. The owners were very responsive when we had questions during our stay. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back next year. I will be dreaming of sitting on the roof top deck and walking the beach with my family every day until next summer.....thank you!!

An incredible place in a fabulous location
The house, the location, the amenities—everything was perfect! The beach is perfect for a family with small children (and for those who prefer to stay away from crowds and noise). My only complaint is that I couldn’t spend the entire summer here.

a simply beautiful and fun vacation
This beautiful well equiped home will meet any family expectations that are looking to relax and enjoy an easy vacation. Access to the beach is directly across the street, and the bay is safe and fun for younger children. We had no issues, but if need be, Tyler, the owner, is easy to reach and happy to help.

Beautiful
This was the perfect place for my family and I. It was such a relaxing and peaceful spot. We road our bikes almost every morning along the water. The beach was so close, with more than enough beach equitment supplied by the home. His home was extremely clean and comfortable! I would definitely come back again!

Great Location
Owners description and pictures on VRBO are accurate. Owners are excellent to deal with and communication always prompt. Bela is in very good condition and easily handles 10 people. The daily dolphin sightings offshore in front of the house were a highlight for all. We liked the location away from the bustling crowd, yet it is an easy excursion to Cape May. We would recommend Bela.

A dream house!
We were seven to stay at Bela for a week: four adults, two young children and one baby. We enjoyed our best family vacation ever!
The villa is beautiful, very spacious, allowing everybody to have a certain privacy. Even when it was raining, the house was big and nice enough to allow us to keep enjoying our vacations. There is a nice touch of luxury, especially at the third floor where we were able to enjoy the extraordinary view of the beach. Being at only a few meters of the water is also something definitively priceless. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed to enjoy the beach (sun umbrellas, toys for kids...).
The place is at a short drive of most attraction, including the city of Cape May. All service were easily accessible by car or bicycle.
The beach is, according to me, much more beautiful than most commercial beaches like the ones in Cape May or Wildwood. It is smaller, but more «natural» and never crowded. A big advantage for families with young children: no big waves in the water, so much safer.
We did a lot a research in the area to find the ideal cottage... Some other cottages with a similar size were available in Cape May and were a little less expensive... However, the additionnal 300$ we payed for Bela was definitely worth it. Our vacations would not have been the same elsewhere!

Family Perfect Getaway!
My family had such a wonderful time, and so many precious memories! The house is beautiful, and so close to the beach. It was perfect for the 15 month old and 4 yr old, who could easily go back and forth to the house and beach. Our 76 year old aunt loved being able to easily walk to the beach, and return to the house to sit outside in the backyard. All of us loved the roof deck, where we would watch the magnificent sunset, and isten to classical music and sip wine, pure heaven!
The home is pleasing, wonderfully equipped, and so spacious that all of us could find our own little niches when needed. We will definitely return, and hopefully year after year!

Spokesperson for a well-rested family
Our family traveled from 3 countries to spend a week at BELA celebrating a 70th birthday! The listing does not do BELA justice, as we were all pleasantly surprised at the generous open plan accommodations and amenities (full laundry facilities, Keurig coffee maker, house-wide speakers with iPod control, lovely gardens, multiple outdoor seating areas, large refrigerator and pantry, etc.). The outdoor shower was helpful, and well-used to complement only having 2 showers in the house. The house is decorated tastefully throughout. Communication with the owners was excellent from Day 1 of our planning. They responded quickly to an email informing them of a broken awning upon our arrival. Although disappointed to do without, we understood this was not the owners' fault. The kayaks, bikes and shuffleboard certainly were a highlight for all residents! We Spent the majority of our week right on the almost-private beach mere steps from the door, but did venture into Cape May for yummy dinners at The Blue Pig and Lucky Bones Backwater Grill (both excellent), as well as a carriage ride and a bit of shopping! We would definitely recommend BELA to anyone seeking a beautiful week in Cape May!

Great to hear you had a good time!
There are actually 3 showers in the house plus the outdoor shower, so you have lots of bathing choices.
