Strip any used beds, placed soiled linens and towels in one pile near the middle bedroom laundry closet. We will take care of washing laundry. We request the cottage be left broom swept.
Used dishes, utensils and glasses should be placed in the dishwasher and turned on Remove personal items, leftover food and drinks. Place bagged trash and recyclables in outside containers.
Turn off all lights, make certain the front door is locked and deadbolted from the inside. Hang keys on the adjacent key rack. Exit through the back porch door and lock the door electronically.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Occupancy is currently limited to 6 guests. Pets inside or outside, are strictly prohibited. On-site parties or group events are strictly prohibited.
Guests shall familiarize themselves with safety features at this property including carbon monoxide and smoke detectors and fire extinguisher.
This property has outdoor amenities like porches, grill and firepit. Use caution, guests are solely responsible for the safety of all in their party.

This was such a wonderful vacation rental for my family and I. It was clean and tidy when we arrived and in a location that was quiet and calm, but had great access to the beach and a short drive to downtown. We have a toddler and she loved being able to have access to a room that had activities that she could engage in and we appreciated that there were items we could use with her, such as a toddler bed and high chair. The host was exceptional — quick to respond, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would stay again.

We had a fantastic family vacation at this property. The rooms were larger than expected, the master suite is amazing! The cottage gets lots of sun, so taking a break in the A/C on hot days was very pleasant. The owner put together a thoughtful and comprehensive binder with restaurants and activities. They also had fishing rods available along with other beach items. The location was perfect, a walk to the bay and a short drive to Cape May beaches with season passes included. Very close to restaurants and supermarket. We would definitely stay at Midships Cottage again!

Our party included a 1 1/1 and and 3 1/2 year old. Having a crib and high chair was a much appreciated feature of this house. The bay beach was perfect for the little ones, calm shallow water and soft sand. The beach is about a half mile away - definitely walkable. The house was very clean and there was plenty of space for our party of 6.The hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach.I do have to mention the firehouse that is a half block away. When the fire horn goes off, you will definitely hear it - it is loud. This was the only drawback for me - other wise this is a great place to stay.

While everyone in the community would wish the fire department would go to a silent alarm, the occasional nuisance is offset by the security of a prompt response in the event of emergency.
