Do not book this rental. It was described as a cozy house but it is a apartment. This rental needs cleaned we found a dead lizard in the cabinet along with amenities listed that were not included.I suggest to google the address for information on surroundings I would say the area is really rundown and some homes have bars on there windows. I would never stay here again.

Our property is most definitely not an apartment; it is a duplex in a residential neighborhood in the historical part of Fort Worth. Bars over the windows are a very common thing to see in the older suburban areas surrounding the city as it's how they were built and has nothing to do with it not being a safe area. Furthermore, you did not let us know of any problems during your stay aside from there not being an iron at the property. We offered you many resolutions, none of which you took us up on. As far as the lizard, yes, it was in the bottom of a cabinet above the microwave and just below the ceiling. The cabinet does not store anything available to guests, is 8 feet high, and required a chair to even access and see into; which is also why the lizard had been missed by our cleaners. Needless to say, it has been taken care of. The patio set has since been disposed of and we do appreciate you letting us know about that. The other picture was the INSIDE of the intake vent that is also 8 feet off the ground and near the ceiling. That has also been taken care of.
It wasn't until the morning of your departure that you began with complaints and demanded a full refund. When we told you we would be willing to give you a $100 refund (for the lizard and the patio set, which we did), you stated you would be leaving a negative review. We are not in the business of buying good reviews and wish you had let us know about these things before your stay was complete. Waiting until a few hours before checkout does not reflect positively on your true desire to have the issues resolved, and instead looks like an attempt to demand a refund with the threat of a bad review, not to mention, it leaves us in a bind and gives us no means of reconciling the issues while you were there.
Small but just what one needs if just looking for a place to crash.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Listing accuracy
The property looks like the pictures, but the size was deceiving. It is VERY small. The outside of the property (walking into the duplex) smelt TERRIBLE. It was a very strong vomit and dog feces smell. The parking was very tight and we could not park in the designated spots, so had to park further down the road at times. I also would not say this property is within walking distance of places like I hoped. My husband woke up to get breakfast and there was a homless lady passed out on the sidewalk. Just not the area that I envisioned by the description on the listing. Although, the beds were comfortable and the price was right!
This was such a cozy and wonderful house to stay in! It was very clear that the host, Lauren, had carefully thought about what would let guests be comfy and feel at home! She was thoughtful and detail oriented; there were multiple pillow options on each bed (firm or softer) so you can get good, quality rest. The bathroom was lovely as well. The water pressure of the shower was amazing and the plentiful towels were plush and soft. I am a bit of a germaphobe when traveling, but the entire house was so clean, I felt very, very comfortable there. The coffee and cream provided was a life saver the first morning of my conference after getting into town late the prior night. I will absolutely be staying here whenever I am in Dallas! Highly, highly recommend staying here!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We love that you enjoyed our place so much and the care we've taken to make sure guests have everything they need. We look forward to hosting you again!
The house is neat & just the right size for a single traveler or a couple. The yard was perfect for my pup. The only thing is the bed was really hard but overall the stay was great.
