About the host
Hosted by Chris & Morgan
Hospitality & customer service have been the family business for over 75 years. Chris grew up working at his grandparents’ fish market & then his parents’ home remodeling shop, before finding their passion was helping people make amazing memories in places they loved! Chris and Morgan set out to help friends and family do the same, hosting guests and making special memories. And so, Stay Awhile hosting was born. We can't wait to host you!
Why they chose this property
Our beautiful 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom cabin spans 2,416 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals, while the inviting living area, with its large windows, lets in plenty of natural light and offers stunning views of the surrounding nature. Whether you're lounging by the fireplace, enjoying the outdoor seating, or taking in the fresh mountain air, this cabin is an ideal space for relaxation and creating memories with family and friends.
Our close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park means there is wildlife in our area - black bears, deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, coyotes, fox, and more! Black bears visit the cabin in Spring, Summer and Fall. You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of these residents while enjoying the view from the deck. We also contract regular monthly pest services which treat for all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given the proximity of the cabin to the park, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up and have found it is rare to come across anything like this.
When you've had enough relaxation, look forward to endless entertainment in the surrounding area; you'll be in the perfect spot to explore through winding hiking trails and world-class ski slopes in the Great Smoky Mountains. Other local attractions can be found in downtown Gatlinburg, including delectable restaurants, intriguing shops, the always-entertaining alpine slides, and even a moonshine distillery!
We strongly recommend trip insurance, especially during the winter since there are no refunds for snow and ice. In difficult winter or storm related weather situations there can be delays in cleaning and check-in pending road conditions which can be outside of our control.

What makes this property unique
Our cabin has plenty of activities to keep the family entertained! You can enjoy a friendly game of pool, roast marshmallows by the fire pit, watch TV located in every room, or relax in the hot tub after a long day of exploring all the smokies have to offer. We want you to make endless memories here!
