Cozy Space Near Seattle Center

I had a wonderful stay in this studio apartment. The apartment was well organized, clean, and had everything someone could want to cook, sleep well, and get ready to explore Seattle.

It’s a very small room in an interesting area of Seattle. There’s a bad smell in the room that made our stay unpleasant. We found spiders (or they found us) even though the room has two windows that can’t be opened. Accessing the property was challenging but ultimately worked out. If it wasn’t so expensive it would be higher rated, but it cost about the same as a decent hotel.

Disappointing experience

This was our first time booking with Vacasa and we are bummed with our experience. The unit was filthy: the bed was covered in other people’s hair and dirt. The walls were stained, plates had food residue left over from previous guest, cups were also not cleaned. We normally camp so we are used to dirt and things like that. But when booking a $500 apartment we assumed it would be clean and prepared for guests. I reached out to the company about it after receiving a message asking about cleanliness. They informed me they would be reaching out to someone local to check in with us. We never heard from anyone which is quite unprofessional. The best thing about the unit is the location - you can walk anywhere! If you are planning to go to a show at the Climate Pledge this is a great location! I truly hope these issues are addressed and they prepare better for future guests. We would have loved to return if we didn’t feel like we needed to go out and purchase our own sheets…
