Palm Key is located off hwy 27, in Davenport, Florida and is perfectly placed for the shops, restaurants, fun and attractions that Orlando has to offer.
With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this fully air-conditioned, family friendly vacation home is perfect for extended families, friends traveling together or for those that just need a little extra room, sleeping up to 6 people . This home has a comfortable family room to relax in during the day or evening with extended cable TV. The villa is equipped with WiFi and there is free long distance within North America.
Step out back and into your own private screen room and sit and eat al-fresco, while enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.
The kitchen has been equipped with everything that you could need to provide a family feast. There is also a full size washer and dryer in the villa.
The queen Master Bedroom has a full ensuite with a separate soaker tub and walk in shower. There is another queen bedroom and a room with 2 twins, which share the hall bath.

Snow birds

It needs a little update but it had everything that we needed. Would stay there again. At first the fact that there was no enclosed patio was a bummer but before long my husband enjoyed the open patio more. Thanks for renting to us. We tried to leave things in the condition that we found them.

Short get away

Nice area quiet. House a little aged but kept well. A suggestion I would have is to have blinds fit better, and to possibly install some handrails in the showers for elderly or somewhat handicap people.

Good for the money for sure! Quiet teaching neighborhood and pool

The water was shut off when we arrived and it took about 4 hrs to get it resolved but it didn't ruin the trip. It was easy to make contact with property management and they were attentive to getting it taken care of.

Get away for a few days

The overall stay was okay. My compliant is about the bed in master bedroom. The matress was wore out. You could feel the springs. Very uncomfortable.

Great place for family to relax

We really enjoyed our stay at Palm Key...it was wonderful to have all the extra space to spread out and to be able to save money cooking our own meals...everything available to use in the kitchen. It is a little drive from everything but well worth it to get away from all of the tourist traffic. Beds were comfortable especially the master...except the twin beds they ended up sleeping on the couch which they said was super comfortable. Enjoyed sitting out in the screened in porch watching it rain. Also, Angela from Paradise Properties was wonderful to work with...great job!! We will stay here again when we are back in the area!

Nice, not quite like the pictures

The back porch was shown having a screen, but it was completly broken. Like other reviews say, all but the master bed was hard as rocks and very springy. The neighbors also had cameras pointing at the house, witch I wish was diclosed beforhand, was a little creepy. Other than that, it was a very nice stay, much better than a hotel would have been. The bath was very nice, and they have plenty of hot water.

The screen over the patio was completely removed by the hurricane last year (we never even found any remnants of it) and we have been trying to have it replaced ever since. Although we have regularly complained to the neighbor about the cameras, he continues to move them back to point onto our home, so we have now contacted resort management to ensure that they will be moved or removed. if they continue to be directed to our home, we will forward the complaint to the sheriff's office. One way or another, the cameras will not be invading our guests' privacy in the future

The house's location was perfect for where we were competing, but it lacked. There were no cleaning supplies offered, including trash bags for the trash cans, the outside trash cans were full and we had to wait until trash day pickup to use them. For a vacation home, there were no vacation things to support out of towners who flew in, i.e. cooler, lawn chairs, umbrellas.

The house was dirty. I had to clean it . One of the bathrooms stunk due to having carpet by the tub. The kitchen counter was sticky as well as the dishwasher. There were marks and holes on the walls. The television sets were outdated. The most enjoyable time I had was at the pool. It was large and spacious and uncrowded.

We have each home cleaned after each guest and inspected prior to the arrival of each guest and our reports confirmed that this home was clean when you arrived. We also provide a contact number for guests to advise us if they ahve any concerns. Unfortunately, we received no calls from you when you arrived so could not address the issues you have advised us of in this review. While we could not replace older TVs (they work fine, but they are older), we could certainly have reviewed the cleanliness for you and fixed whatever unspecified concerns you had. We are glad that you enjoyed the community facilities.

Never rent this place!

It was a total mess… The place was not clean, the furniture including beds and mattresses were so old and bad that i could not sleep a night there. And the worst: there was no electricity in the house!!!! Shame on the owner We were saved by the company who manages the place that found a new and much better place… still some money came out of my pocket… but i had no option after almost a day traveling with my family

Cheaper and roomier than a Disney Resort!

This property was perfect for our stay. Very close to Disney, restaurants, shopping, etc. The perfect size for our family of 5 and so much cheaper and roomier than staying at a hotel in Orlando. Check In and Check Out was a breeze. We especially liked that it had a screened in porch, covered parking, washer/dryer, and all of the basic necessities. The house was very clean when we arrived too. Our only issues were both toilets were not flushing when we got there but we quickly figured out the problem and had no issues after that. The bed in the master bedroom is also extremely soft which we personally did not find comfortable though I'm sure others might. The beds in the other rooms were firmer though. Overall this was a great property in a very quiet neighborhood. The owners had a really nice notebook prepared for guests with everything you would need to know during your stay. We were very happy with our stay and would stay again if we happen to be in the area in the future. Thanks!

Desperately needing a refresh

Nice manufactured home community near all of the shopping, dining and attractions. Home was in a desperate need of a refresh and too many updates to mention. Carpet was filthy, everything in this home was a relic. Wi-Fi only worked for a couple of hours one out of the three days we were there. The primary bedroom mattress was the only usable mattress; jail cell type pillows and some bedding desperately needs replacement. Make sure you bring all the accoutrements… Soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc. as you will run out almost immediately. Dealing with Laura and Angie with the property management was a dream, but Mr. Keast, you need to keep up with the rental property market standards.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your two night stay in our home. I am sorry that the home did not meet your expectations. We do note that you began complaining about the mattresses before you arrived and complained about all of the mattresses during your stay, only saying that the master bedroom was an exception after you learned that the mattress was brand new. The wifi is high speed through the cable company so it is not clear why it would not work during your stay. The homes are self catering, although we do provide a starter pack of amenities noted to give guests time to go to a grocery store to obtain supplies of their choosing.

Michigan Mistake

Upon our arrival check in was easy. The first thing we noticed was there was no screened in lanai that was pictured in the listing. I inquired about it last year and was told it would be replaced in 3 weeks. This home needs some serious TLC. The counters were sticky and dirty, the carpets are stained, there are water stains and mold on the ceilings and we could only use maybe 2 pans because the rest were unusable. The WIFI kept going out. I contacted the manager and they did send someone out quickly to resolve the issue. He showed me what to do if it went out again which I had to do daily. We decided to leave a week early after we had 2 days of rain and the roof started to leak. I did send pictures to the host and management company so hopefully these issues will be addressed.

Davenport ist ein muss

Das Haus war für uns einfach Super, die Nachbarschaft war sehr freundlich, es war eine sehr ruhige Wohnanlage. Die Vermieter waren bei fragen sehr schnell mit der Beantwortung. Der nächste Walmart ist nur 8 minuten entfernt. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Super quiet and peaceful part of Orlando

Although this house was a bit "wabi-sabi" (peeling paint, holes in doors and walls) it's one of the most peaceful and quiet places I've ever stayed.

Clean and quiet, good communication

This was a whole whole furnished house with general supplies, very much a vacation home away from home and was a great experience. The house was clean and bug free. My son who has never been to Florida enjoyed chasing the lizards around outside. The only issue we encountered was the key lock box seemed a bit fidgety in the dark as our arrival time was in the evening. Both times I had a question, answers were prompt and professional. I did report a couple of minor maintenance issues so they can keep the property up. I will certainly consider renting again.

Everything we expected

My husband and I rented this property for 2 weeks while in Florida searching for our retirement home. The house was exactly what you see in the pictures. (except the huge bushes outside the front window that scrape againts the house whenever the wind blows). The kitchen was well equippped with all the tools you need to prepare meals. There was a funky smell that we experienced when we first got there and we assume it was from the garbage disposal but a little fabreeze fixed it right up. On the 4th day of our stay the coffee pot stopped working but with a simple phone call it was replaced within just a few hours. All in all our stay was very good! We would conider staying here in the future.

Disappointing

Having stayed on Palm Key Villages before, we knew the area and location. Unfortunately the home we normally stay in was fully booked, and we chose to stay here. The home needs some tlc, and a thorough clean, the dishes and cutlery were sticky and dirty. But the biggest off put for us, was that all the wardrobes in 3 bedrooms are cluttered with personal possessions, and are just dumped untidily in the wardrobes. It felt for us like someone had hastily thrown their possessions in the cupboards for us to rent for the 15 nights! We found that really off putting,as many owners have a locked cupboard, which is way more acceptable. The Hoover was dumped in the lounge full up, there is a box full of stuff by the dining table,nothing was particularly tidied up. Unfortunately on Sunday morning we woke up with no water at all, obviously not the owners fault, however yesterday we woke up to a sink full and unit running with ants! Would I stay again, prob not with the cleanliness and overall need for some updating.
