We were very disappointed with our stay. As frequent visitors to Watercolor, with teens and toddlers, we purposefully choose a home with a LSV/cart amenity as this property advertises. Upon arrival for our five day stay, we identified the cart needed a repair that should have been recognized and resolved before our arrival. We were without the cart for the first two days waiting on this repair to be completed. On the fourth day, when exiting Camp Watercolor with the kids, we found the cart disabled ("booted") by the Police due to an expired vehnicle registration, temporarily stranding us and causing the unnecessary waste of our time to resolve the citation and return the boot equipment. We lost the use of the cart for another day waiting on the registration to be resolved. During the course of these events, the property manager and owner were were not very responsive, hard to communicate with, and showed little empathy. It took effort to get the property manager on the phone regarding the "boot" situation, and when on the phone she did not understand the situation or how the terms "citation" and "registration" related to the situation. The owner, once involved, did not communicate well, and had to be repeatedly asked for updates. Other amenities were also not as advertised. All of these issues could have been avoided with basic property management. Needless to say, we did not experience the downtime we expected at the Downtime property.
