We rented this home over Thanksgiving, with some family local and many traveling in from out of town. I’ve never stayed in a VRBO with such incredible attention to detail. Everything in the house felt thoughtfully designed—both functional and calming. The space was truly zen and perfectly set up for a relaxing stay. The hosts have clearly thought of everything to make the experience exceptional! Highly recommend.

Good host - home was as advertised. Had to contact the host as there were no instructions on how to use the sauna. The house was well appointed- the only drawback was it wasn’t ready on time at check-in- had to check-in an hour late. I’d definitely recommend this property

Incomplete Property

This property strikes me as someone’s hobby on the back burner. They dangerously hung plastic string lights in the sauna which had melted on previous use and not been noticed- so they clearly hadn’t even opened it, much less sanitized it. The stove was dirty. Every single trash was missing a bag. There wasn’t a welcome manual with instructions for anything. There wasn’t enough bedding for all the beds in the home. The kitchen lacked basic necessities. The only coffee provided was pumpkin spice. The bath towels were still brand new, with the tags on them, which indicated they had never been cleaned. We must have been their first guests after their own personal use. The TV required we sign in with our own accounts. We were asked to take the trash out but there were no clear trash bins assigned to the property which made it feel like we were stealing trash space from neighbors. Their responses were delayed and dismissive. They offered me a “kick back” but I was still charged the full amount. I look forward to staying anywhere else but here when we return frequently next year.

We appreciate every guest’s feedback and always strive to improve. That said, this review contains several inaccuracies and misrepresentations that we need to clarify for future guests. This was the very first stay at a brand new property. The sauna was new and thoroughly inspected; the battery-operated string lights (no batteries in them, just viney aesthetic), which softened slightly from the heat, were decorative and have since been removed. There was no safety risk. The beds were freshly made and additional linens were available in the closet. The kitchen includes over a dozen amenities: rice cooker, popcorn maker, RO water filter, Instant Pot, blender, waffle maker and both drip and single-serve coffee options — pumpkin spice was simply a seasonal extra. The guest lied. Towels were brand new and clean. Trash bags were located in the laundry area, and city-assigned trash bins are shared by the complex — this is noted in the digital guide, which this guest opted not to review. We responded to all concerns within 30 minutes and offered a courtesy credit — not a “kickback.” As a small, locally owned business that takes pride in delivering a personal, elevated experience. One review does not define us, but for transparency’s sake, we felt it was important to respond with facts. We encourage future guests to review all guest experiences before making a decision. We’ll continue to improve, stay transparent, & host with care. (She paid $103 in a 3 bd 2 ba brand new home)
