Had a great stay at this clean, modern and comfortable apartment a half block off the Sunset Strip. The location is convenient to a lot of Los Angeles. The bed and pillows were top notch. The kitchen was well thought out. Lots of windows and outside light. Fairly quiet - which is really important to us. Brian was helpful and easy to reach. Nothing negative to say whatsoever. We'd love to come back and stay again. Thank you!!

Great location, the apartment complex was amazing, the views from the roof top terraces are magical, city skyline, the Hollywood Hills…it was picture perfect. The apartment itself was super clean. Definitely stay again.

Great location in Hollywood. Walking to sights and restaurants was easy. The place was very clean. The building was nice and we felt very safe there. It is not generously equipped but had everything we needed.

Brian’s place was an ideal location for everywhere we wanted to be during our one night stay in LA. We were 1.1 miles from our destination, The Magic Castle. Check in was simple, Brian was communicative and helpful. We felt very safe. Bonus is that secure parking was included. The place was clean, inviting and we enjoyed our stay. Considering it was my mom and her 3 adult daughters, we didn’t mind that there was one big bed and a sofa bed. However, I don’t think it would be ideal for 2 couples. A small family - definitely! Parents and 2 kids type of thing. If we go up to LA again, we’d be more than happy to book Brian’s place.

Amazing Apartment!!

Brian’s apartment was very spacious, clean, and well maintained. The location was amazing and the amenities were superb. His communication was great and we had no issues throughout the entire stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Beautiful Hollywood Stay!

Beautiful property, super comfy bed and super comfy space! The host was so excellent and kind, I would definitely book with them again. The location was super close to everything I needed, and it felt safe and super secure! Great for a long weekend stay, maybe even longer!

The host was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations in the area and a clear and simple check in process. The property was amazing. Really nice amenities, the apartment was very clean , and overall we were very impressed . Will be staying here if we visit LA again .

True and pure luxury

Really appreciate the host working with us and being communicative all throughout the process. Whenever we had a question we got a response within the next few minutes. The apartment building had a movie viewing theater on the top floor and a billiards table as well which we were not expecting. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. We were visiting universal studios which was close by but next time we are in the area again we will definitely be booking here and were sad we didn’t have longer this time.

We had a great stay at this apartment in the heart of Hollywood. The building was fabulous and we enjoyed the gym, outdoor movie room and courtyard. The pool temp was too cold when we tried to use it. We appreciated the underground parking and secure building. It was so quiet and soundproof! The apartment itself was spacious and new. Bed was comfortable and our kids slept well with the pull out sofa and air mattress. The apartment was sparsely furnished. It could use a dresser in the bedroom or closet and patio furniture so one could enjoy use of the balcony. Our host was responsive and accommodating. Location was good. We enjoyed the close proximity to Universal Studios (less than 10 minutes).

Wonderful stay – perfect for a family getaway

We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO apartment! The space was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a family trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The apartment was spacious enough for four people, and everything from the beds to the kitchen amenities were great. I might recommend some serving dishes in the kitchen otherwise you had what you needed.The location was ideal – close to Hollywood Blvd. It is close to Universal Studios, about three exits right off the freeway. It was quiet and peaceful at night. We especially enjoyed the courtyard with the pool table. (Note: it’s on the third floor.) My boys and I went to the roof top lounge at night to see the city at night. We also used the pool area. Our host was also incredibly responsive and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. It's clear they put a lot of care into maintaining the property and ensuring a smooth guest experience.We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a [relaxing/convenient/family-friendly] place to stay in [location].

Not "luxury", bare bones, disappointingI’ll start with the pros: clean, modern, well-located, and the master bed was amazingly comfortable. The building had nice amenities and a really great staff. Security was top-notch.However, the descriptions of the place were overstated, and the place was understocked.The “Full Chef’s Kitchen” had no kitchen towels (we were told to use paper towels), measuring spoons/cups, serving bowl/spoon, corkscrew, or dishwasher detergent. There were only 2 coffee cups & 2 wine glasses. I could go on.The bathroom had no hand towels, we were told to use 1 of the 3 washcloths instead (1 had paint on it). Only 1½ rolls of toilet paper for a full week stay. No tissues. The barn-style bathroom door left cracks on either side that you could see through & hear everything. We would leave the bedroom to give the other privacy.The “Double sofa bed” barely fit my teenager diagonally. It might fit 2 children but 2 adults is doubtful. It was uncomfortable: you sleep on the tufted upholstery and can feel the hard support beams under you.The washing machine had standing water in it that we had to drain, and the lint catcher in the dryer had somehow never been cleaned before. No chairs on the balcony. No pool towels. Nothing on the walls, no hooks for bags, jackets, or towels. There is a lot of potential here, but it needs work.

Check in and check out were straightforward and went smoothly. Parking was simple and I didn't have trouble finding a spot even when coming back in the evening. I thought the unit was very clean and the building very safe. There was body soap, but no shampoo in shower/tub - which wasn't a problem. More of an observation in case anyone expects both to be there and you come to find that it's not. The surrounding area was also great. We walked to The Waffle for a delicious brunch on our first morning, and La Monarca Bakery for coffee and a pastry the second day before we checked out. We also had a great Mediterranean/Persian meal at Vala for a light dinner before catching a show at the Greek Theatre. All 3 spots are excellent! We also walked a few blocks around the building - saw some Hollywood Walk of Fame stars along some of the sidewalks and spent a couple hours inside Amoeba Records. It was a 2-night stay and we enjoyed everything!

Brian's place was conveniently located to places we were visiting (The Fonda Theater and Warner Bros Studio) while in Hollywood. There is a Starbucks in the lot nextdoor and a few restaurants nearby for a quick bite. While clean, the apartment was very minimalist and did not have anything extra except for two coffee pods for each of us and powdered creamer and sugar. Be sure to bring shampoo, body wash (one was left in the shower but it was basically empty), bottled water, snacks, and anything else you would need. We have stayed at many other places through another vacation rental company and everything is always provided plus extra. Maybe it's a difference in company policies but it is nice to not have to think about bringing the little things with us. Be aware that you will need to stop at a 7-Eleven a few blocks away to pick up your keys and return them upon departure (via a key safe within the store). That was a first for us but since it's an apartment that utilizes a key fob for everything, there's no way to have a keypad lock on the door for entry. The unit does have a washer and dryer which could come in handy for longer stays. Also, there is an underground gated garage so you don't have to worry about leaving your car on the street which was nice. We appreciate Brian's hospitality and would rent again if something brings us back to the area.

Overall we had a nice stay and would stay here again. The apartment building is very nice! It was close to where we needed to be. And it was quiet. Our only feedback would be picking up the key offsite is a little challenging because it’s 4-5 blocks away - which is fine if you have a car but not convenient if you don’t. And they didn’t have shampoo and conditioner - so pack some or pick some up.
