Peaceful 2-bedroom house with river views, pool, laundry, full kitchen & more

Tranquil Riverside Retreat in the Trinity Alps. Escape to this peaceful mountain home on the river with stunning views and modern comforts. Sleeps 7 (8 if you want to use the cot). Two bedrooms—both with river views. One has two queen beds, and the other has a queen bed, a pull-out couch, 2 cots and a pack and play. Guests have full access to the whole home including the washer and dryer including laundry soap and dryer sheets. High speed Wi-Fi and a printer are available in case you need to do some work. Help yourself to the old school VHS and DVD movies for an old fashioned family night. The full kitchen has a microwave, full size refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster oven, toaster, and stove, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and just about anything you might need to create a meal besides the food. Two full bathrooms with towels, blow dryers, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. There are also two large decks with a pool for relaxing and watching the river go by. Extra room to visit and relax in the screen porch with with a small ping pong table, a jumper, and a kid corner with books, games and art and craft supplies to keep the kiddos entertained. Close to kayaking, rafting, hiking, and the Trinity Alps. There is rough trail from the back of the house to the river with enough room for a few people depending on the time of year. Be cautious on the Trinity it is swift and unpredictable. I have PFD's (life jackets) if you need to borrow them, just let me know. This house is the perfect blend of nature, solitude and all the comforts of home.

The house sits on just under an acre. We're constantly working to improve the site. Occasionally you will find the host on the property, working on the landscaping, stacking firewood or working in the shed. Feel free to say hello and ask about the area, or choose not to interact at all. We'll respect your choice for privacy.
