This property was selected to meet our winter break respite from Chicago for 6 weeks ( we have rented similar properties in Boca and Delray Beach in the past) due to the description of the property as advertised by the owner on VRBO. The pictures do visually represent the best that this property offers, with the exception of the deceptive size of the swimming pool itself. However, almost all of the remaining amenity and service descriptions are inaccurate and border on fraudulent. The only way that this property could serve as a long term rental would be if the guest brought all of their own kitchen, bedroom and cleaning supplies along with them in order to supplement that which were not provided by the property owner in his advertisement listing. And even if that were possible, the renter then needs to expect that aside from the pool service and gardening contractors, any assistance the guest might need from either the owner or his supposed local property managers during their stay will go unanswered. Having shared this honest experience in order to forewarn other renters from the disappointing and frustrating surprises experienced by us during our rental experience, we expect that the owner will attempt to deflect his responsibility for the shortcomings described in this review by attacking our perfect renter ratings we have accumulated to date. Sadly, if the owner would invest in the property aside from the visual offerings, it could be a 5 star unit. Caveat emptor!
