Check in was terrible, received a security code for the door which didn't work. Went to the reception and advise it only actives from 4 o'clock. Went back to the property to check again and it didn't work. So back to reception who gave a new code. So back to the property once more and it didn't work. Sooo back to reception to get an engineer out. Advised he was at the property, but no, took another 30mins to arrive. Took over 1.30 mins to check. Also security code of the gates. They forget to advise that the number they give you have to add a # after it

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the frustrating check-in experience you encountered. We understand how exhausting it must have been having to go back and forth multiple times after traveling, and we completely understand your disappointment. Unfortunately, it sounds like there was a miscommunication regarding the activation timing of the door code as well as the gate access instructions. We are reviewing this with our team to help prevent similar situations for future guests. We do appreciate your patience while our maintenance technician was able to get everything resolved, and we’re very sorry for the inconvenience and delay at the start of your vacation. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Amazing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was amazing. A few technical issues with the door entrance pass code and the Wi-Fi codes. They were resolved within minutes of calling the front desk. I would recommend this property to anyone. The only thing I would suggest would be adding paper towels and more trash bags in the condo. The trash bin was not close to the condo, so I had to put in my vehicle and drive around and find one to put the trash in.
Response from VrboOwner on 5 June 2025
Thank you so much for your feedback! We're glad to hear you had an amazing stay and that our front desk was able to quickly resolve the technical issues. We appreciate your suggestions regarding the paper towels, trash bags, and bin accessibility—this helps us improve the guest experience. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Great Time!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was fantastic! It was clean and all the important things were in good working order. There were only a couple of things to complain about.... The storm door is on backwards, so it is a pain to get things in and out of the front door. In the master bed room.... the cable tv does not work and the mattress is VERY uncomfortable! (the sofa bed was more comfortable than master bed). None of those things stopped us from having a great time!

I enjoyed my stay at the condo. I really appreciate the fact that they were able to change from the original condo that I booked which was upstairs. By the way, when I booked the property online it did not state that it was upstairs. I was traveling with my 82-year-old mother and would have not booked a unit with stairs. Our condo was in walking distance from the beach which was very nice. The only issue that I can remember is not being able to get the remote in the bedroom with the two beds to work properly and it would have been nice to have some type of curtain or covering on the window next to the front door. Overall, it was a great stay and very enjoyable. I let front desk know about the issues in our condo and they sent someone to repair them the same day. I would stay here again.

Unfortunate

I have stayed an Sandpiper Cove at least 5 times over the years, if not more and I have had nothing but good experiences. Unfortunately, this time was different. The apartment look as described, no issues there, however on the first night I found dirty dishes in the pantry. Not huge deal, i always wash things before use anyway, but when I opened the dishwasher, a small roach fell out of it. Then about an hour later, another one showed up. I have never had to deal with bugs before. I ended up killing 6 small roaches during my stay and they were not limited to just the kitchen area. Another issue was the tub was clogged and drained very, very slow. Maintenance came out and fixed very fast which was a blessing. The rest of the stay was ok, just was disappointed, with the roaches. This was again, my first time having this issue. Not sure if I will stay again, but the condos for the most part are a nice place to stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great. The only issue was the shower didn’t drain well but other than that it was very clean and nice . Side note the lady you go through to get more towels was one of the rudest people I have ever spoke to. I know that doesn’t reflect the rental but still had to say something because she was just that awful.

Very Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Sandpiper Cove at least six times per year the last few years. Almost every experience has been great and the units wonderful. This unit was a mess; TV cable did not work, electrical and lighting issues (possibly dangerous), holes in the wall, sliding door handle was broken (that was fixed on day three). We should have received some portion of a refund based on the condition of the unit. 9208 was not up to your normal standards. Too many hassles. I have photos on the issues that I can provide.

Few minor maintenance issues, I.e. towel bar off wall in bathroom and a few light bulbs out, but otherwise nice. I’d come back again.

Needs some updates but livable.

The condo is in a great location. My only complaints are that it needs some major updates. Some of the light switches have shortages, leaking refrigerator and leaking faucet. Overall it was a great time of the location.

Perfect for a quick weekend getaway!

My 4 teenagers and I booked this rental last minute for a spring break weekend. It was clean and very spacious. It was a bit dated but had everything we needed. The walk to the beach is just across the street so it was pretty convenient. Check in was easy and the staff are very friendly.
