We loved our stay here at this condo.Splendid beach views,fantastic sunset.Place was clean and had everything needed for a family including beach essentials.We loved dining at the lanai with beach views for all of our meals Parking is easy right in front.
My wife has for several years worked on IronMan World Championship athletes during race week and we were looking for a place closer to the athlete village than we've stayed in the past. This location is great. It's close to Kailua-Kona and is a nice, cozy place. Not having air conditioning was a little tough as breezes don't always come through the apartment, but it wasn't an ordeal. The kitchen is great, well stocked with tools and the view is just amazing. Watching the moon go out over the water every morning while I was on work calls with folks in the CDT timezone was awesome!! Saw dolphins swim by several times.For the square footage, the layout is outstanding. With 4 of us it never felt crowded and having a full kitchen AND laundry capability was exceptional. Spectrum recently upgraded the network, so being on Teams calls for the first few hours of the day worked almost as well as at home on gig fibre. One thing that was a little nerve-wracking was getting out of the parking lot; it can be tricky along Ali'i Drive with all the runners/bikers and southbound traffic screaming in over the hill, but especially seeing around the foliage to the north. Maybe a mirror on the other side of the road or something would help with that. We will likely use this property again if she works next year's race and it's available!!!!
