Clean, peaceful and conveniently located near Salina. The property was very accommodating for a weekend getaway. Back porch was wonderful for enjoying the view of the lake and surroundings.
Very hot outside but the place was cool. Would have preferred covered parking. Host was very cordial and made sure we had everything. Lake access is limited but a short drive will put you on the water. We could see the lake. Nice neighbors we met and we elected to eat in town. Decent restaurants close by.
The Nest is very neat & cozy. Great place to stay. The host was very nice and accommodating, answering all of our questions very quickly. Highly recommend!
The house was clean and comfortable and is in a quiet neighborhood. There is ample parking for a truck and boat trailer. The house is well-stocked with nice cookware and dishes/silverware if you want to cook. It even has a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The shower has great water pressure and is a nice size. The back porch has a couple of Adirondack chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or hang out in the evening. We did not use the upstairs but it would be great for older children or teens since it is accessed by a ladder and has mattresses on the floor. This is a charming little place to stay!
Property was even nicer in person than in the pictures. The host was very quick and responsive. We were in town for my son’s wedding at Lake View Hills and it was an easy drive from this house to the venue.

Thank you! So glad we could be part of your special weekend! You are welcome back any time!
My brother and I had a great stay. We were on the go everyday so we were only at the house for a few hours every morning. The house was very clean and very comfortable. Everything functioned well in the house and I can't think of a single thing that didn't work right. The house was very close to the beautiful Lake Hudson. We drove over the bridge everyday and it was quite the picturesque setting!

Thank you! So glad you had a good trip! You are welcome back anytime!
Property was great and accommodating. Stairs to upstairs was a bit of surprise due to how steep, but we made work just fine. There was no shampoo or soap in the shower dispenser.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! So sorry that you didn't find the shampoo/soap. There is a basket in the bathroom that has multiple individual bottle selections for your use. I will make sure the basket is more prominent in the future!
Since this is a Tiny House , the loft ladder is steep. There is a rail for support and hopefully the photos on the website give a good idea of how you access the loft area. Thanks for your input - we are always up for improvement!
The host was easy to reach and accommodating. The house is well laid out, has a view from a nice back porch, easy to reach, and extremely comfortable. The loft is reached via a ladder/staircase that would challenge the older/younger. I’m a very fit 69 year old and stayed up there with my gkids every night. Night time potty runs required care. LOVED our stay there. Thanks Dana.
Dana was an excellent host, I will look forward to staying again next year. Thank you Dana for everything!

I’d love to know the reason for only 3 stars. The communication I received was “I’m completely enjoying myself. Thank you! The house is perfect!” If there was a problem I wish I’d been told about it.
