The Space:

The salt air hits you before you even open the door. Set on a private oceanfront lot with 100 feet of direct beach access, The Heartland is a vintage 1949 beach cottage that carries the soul of old Florida - sun-bleached wood, ceiling fans turning slow, and the Atlantic stretching out in front of you like it belongs to nobody else. This is the kind of place where vacation actually feels like vacation.



Living space

Inside, the home's mid-century bones are very much intact. Natural light floods the cozy living area, where soft seating invites you to sink in after a morning in the surf. The open layout keeps things relaxed and social, with plenty of room for the whole group to gather without anyone feeling crowded. A dedicated workspace is available if you need it, but the ocean views make a compelling case for logging off entirely.



Sleeping arrangements

Five bedrooms sleep up to 8 guests across 6 beds, each room carrying its own quiet warmth. Wake up to the sound of waves, and wind down each evening to the hum of ceiling fans and the gentle rhythm of the sea. Bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, and clothing storage are all provided.



Kitchen & dining

The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook at home - refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, baking sheet, wine glasses, and a full set of dishes and silverware. Cooking basics like pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper are included. Pull up a chair at the dining table for a proper sit-down meal, or grab your coffee and take it straight to the patio.



Bathrooms

Three and a half bathrooms keep the morning routine moving for larger groups. Each is stocked with shampoo, body soap, and a hair dryer, with hot water and cleaning products on hand.



Outdoor space

The real draw is outside. A sparkling pool sits at the centre of the property, flanked by a shaded raised deck and a covered patio - ideal for January afternoons when Florida's winter sun still carries warmth without the summer intensity. String lights, outdoor furniture, and a fire pit round out the space. Beyond the deck, 100 feet of private oceanfront lot opens directly onto the beach. Beach towels, an umbrella, a beach blanket, and snorkeling gear are all provided.



Location

The Heartland sits two blocks from the heart of downtown Cocoa Beach - an easy walk to seafood restaurants, surf shops, tiki bars, local breweries, and eclectic cafés. The Cocoa Beach Pier is accessible by bike, and the Space Coast's famous rocket launches are visible right from the backyard. For families, couples, or a group of friends, this stretch of barrier island offers as much or as little as you want - from quiet beach mornings to full days of surfing, exploring, and dining out.



Essentials are fully covered: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, washer and dryer, iron, hangers, a fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, and a first aid kit. Self check-in via smart lock. Long-term stays are welcome. Free parking on premises.
