Our family has lived in Brunswick for 10 years and we love it here. It's a small town and a real community with a super diverse population, including families with long histories in the railroad (the B&O) and local farms and businesses, and newer families with folks who travel into DC each day on the MARC commuter line. We love to walk and bike on the C&O Canal path, and to put our canoe, kayak, or tubes into the Potomac River! I am a cultural anthropologist by training, who grew up in the US, Scandinavia, and central Africa. My wife Machelle is originally from Colorado. She is a yoga instructor who runs Brunswick's only yoga studio , which is just a few minutes walk from the house. See www.rootsandriveryoga.com

Why they chose this property

We love the walkability of being close to the historic downtown. From the Little Blue House, you are just a few minutes walk to a local brewery, a local coffee shop (in a converted church), the railroad museum, a bike shop, several restaurants, the railroad station, the post office, the C&O canal path, and the Potomac River!

What makes this property unique

This house recently underwent a full renovation so everything is quite new in it! It's comfortable and cozy but also up-to-date!
