Welcome to the Ponderosa Main Lodge—a serene, three-story mountain getaway nestled in the heart of the 1.6 million acre Santa Fe National Forest, surrounded by towering pines and whispering aspens. This fully updated 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom lodge is perfect for families, reunions, or groups seeking a peaceful retreat in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It is the largest of 4 cabins that are available for rent on our verdant 11 acre property.

Enjoy the charm of rustic elegance with spacious living areas, wood-burning fireplaces, and plenty of natural light. The main floor features a cozy living room, dining area, fully stocked kitchen, and a master suite. The top floor offers two large bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The ground floor includes two private guest rooms (Bear Den & Elk Cove) each with their own private bathrooms, a shared lounge, and a sixth bedroom with a mini fridge and sink. All rooms are thoughtfully appointed for your comfort.

Step outside to explore hiking trails, the nearby Pecos River, and our crystal-clear trout pond. While you're tucked away in nature, you’ll still have access to high-speed Wi-Fi and modern conveniences.
