Crested Butte is our favorite place on earth. Since our jobs keep us from living here full-time, we're sharing our place so others can experience what makes this town so special. Why they chose this property
Buckhorn Ranch is located just five minutes south of downtown Crested Butte, three minutes from The Golf Club at Crested Butte, and twelve minutes from the resort. Outside our windows are panoramic vistas of iconic peaks such as Whetstone Mountain, Mt. Emmons (also known as Red Lady), Mt. Crested Butte, and the Paradise Divide. Walking distance from our place, you will have access Whetstone Vista Loop trail, which is a wonderful to start any morning. If you're more adventurous, you have world class mountain bike trails 5 minutes away on Brush Creek Road, including Teocalli Ridge Loop. There is also a brand new playground steps away from our doorstep!
