This property worked out great for us. It was the perfect size; clean; and very well stocked. And it was only a couple blocks to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. I would stay here again!
This was a great holiday rental in CB. The host Susan was a wonderful communicator and the thoughtful touches all around the house were perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need and the living space is pretty large for a family of 5ish. Honestly the pictures don't do it enough justice. We will stay again for sure.
We had a great weekend skiing in Crested Butte. We were a 3 minute walk from the shuttle to the mountain and 2 blocks from town. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed!
This was our 2nd time at Susan's place. The location can't be beat! It's accurate to the photos in the listing, and Susan was very responsive. Would recommend!
Great location, comfy and roomy house. Great having off street parking for 2 cars. A bit cold and needs some maintenance. Overall the location so close to town was a winner and the property manager was great to deal with.
This property should be named "mi casa, es tu casa." This is our 5th visit to CB and this house made us feel like we were truly welcomed guests in someone's home. Extra soaps, lots of towels, an extra stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a spacious living room. It was also walking distance to the main strip. Being able to bring our dogs was an added bonus. We will definitely book this property again!
You cannot beat the location - two block walk to everything. Ordered pizza and we had it back enjoying it in 15 minutes. Very clean, with everything you need. We used the cozy kitchen almost every night. And walked the whole neighborhood. There is even a view of Mt. Crested Butte right out the window while enjoying the rocking chair by the gas stove.
We stayed here because wife’s came on father son fishing trip this year. It was close to town so the girls could walk the shops while we were out fishing in the day. We ended up hiking more than fishing this year. Great house great location two blocks off Main Street and with the little bridge over coal creek it was short walk to town. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint no AC and not upset with that but it would be nice if they had a couple of small fans in the place. Upstairs rooms were very warm in afternoon until 10 o’clock in the evening then by midnight it would cool off you would need to shut the windows. We went mid July but a fan would have been nice to move some air in the bedrooms.

Fine but too many visits from owner
It was fine - good location like any house in town, and perfectly adequate for our stay. The house is a bit dated and the screens all seem to be broken so it's definitely not fancy, but again - fine. My main issue is that the owner came by unannounced almost daily to do things in the yard. We'd be hanging out at the house and all of sudden our dog would start barking up a storm and we look up and sure enough, there she is outside the bedroom window getting the hose to water the plants. I really disliked that.

Good, could be better. But some very nice plusses.
Checkin was a little sketchy. Two units in building but reservation not specific. Shower water pressure like a firehose and could not be easily adjusted. We did not use the oven but it was very dirty and should have been clean. This was not under control of owner, but neighboring property was undergoing major excavation work and it was very noisy in day. On the plus side, the owner made many com.fortable touches, complimentary soaps, nicely decorated, furnished generously, LOTS of towels!, and very well stocked kitchen pots and pans, etc. Even a blender. And coffee too from a local market.
Awesome location & the place has a lot of charm. One thing we didn’t realize before booking is that there is no AC, so just beware of that for summer time. Also the showers were not cleaned very well with a lot of dirt in them & we did see a few bugs in the bathroom over the course of our stay. The host was super nice and communicative.
A wonderful home to enjoy all Crested Butte has to offer!
We had a fabulous stay at this home- super location for catching the bus to the mountain or enjoying Elk Ave shops and restaurants. The house was very well supplied and communication with owner was smooth! Thank you for allowing dogs- it was wonderful having our fur babies with us for the week!! And thank you for sharing your home- we loved our stay.
This location was perfect for a group of friends and our 18 month old. Walking into town was easy (5 mins max), parking was not a problem at all, and the host was very friendly and accommodating. The house was well stoked with items in the kitchen and utensils. The layout of the house was as described and easy for people to have some personal down time after skiing without everyone being on top of each other. The ski lift pick up was down the street and easy to get to and from. Would 100000% stay at this property again. It was a dream.
My family shared this unit over Christmas 2021. We loved staying here and had so much fun! The host put up a mini tree, a wreath and some lights which made things festive.
We cooked several meals and there were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and other utensils. There was even some tupperware for leftovers.
The heat was mostly the gas stove which is on a thermostat on the wall (easy to use). Cable, internet, and the TV (only one in the living room) all worked great. There were plenty of extra linens, the washing machine and dryer worked, and so did the dishwasher. The rooms did not have ceiling fans and were lit only by lamps. There were hangers in the closets, a coat rack, and other little conveniences.
While we were there, it snowed almost constantly the whole time, so we were glad to find that the host had a service coming out daily to plow the driveway.
This house is a couple blocks from Elk, but not very close to Clark's grocery or either gas station. It's not a bad walk though, even in snow. Going straight up 2 blocks, you get to the (free) bus stop through town and up the mountain.
The host let us in a little early as our flight was early, which was great with the little kids. The host was very friendly and communicative.
We would definitely stay here again!
