Crystal Villas A-3 is a fully remodeled, wonderfully decorated 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath beach front, first floor condo in the Crystal Beach area of Destin. This unit has been completely updated and remodeled and includes a king bed in the master, twin bunks in the hallway, and a queen sized pullout sofa. You have an extra half bath for the extra guests, and your own washer/dryer right in the condo. Enjoy sunset gulf views while cooking or enjoying a meal from the large open kitchen and dining area.

The panoramic gulf views are incredible from this first floor condo! This unit is so close to the beach that you can sit on your patio and talk to your family while they are on the beach getting a tan. Just outside your front door you can watch the kids swim and play in the pool. Crystal Villas is a Smoke Free complex.  No Smoking, tobacco, or vapes on property, including the beach and balconies.

Snowbird Season runs November thru February. For a quote, select an arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and a departure date (must be the 1st day of a subsequent month). Contact us for alternate date requests and further assistance! All monthly rentals are subject to an additional $150 cleaning fee.

*Crystal Villas now charges a Mandatory $60 per day for Beach Setups during the season (March 1-Oct 31). This charge will be added to your booking and remitted it to Crystal Villas for you.*

Crystal Villas is also close to Henderson Beach State Park. This property not only rests right on the beautiful Destin beach, but also has easy access to over a mile of undeveloped beach just a short walk away. In the popular Crystal Beach community of Destin, you can enjoy wonderful dining at Camille's (within walking distance) and being centrally located to other great dining and the best shopping Destin has to offer all within a short walk away.

Area Attractions: 

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017.  Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy! 

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

The location of this villa is unbeatable with beach access right out the back door. Chair service on the beach makes the stay even more enjoyable. It was very clean inside, and had everything we needed for our stay. The bunk beds were great for our two young children. The overall property at Crystal Villas could use some updating, but interiorly, this specific villa was wonderful. Devin was great to work with. We would stay here again!

The beach and property location are amazing! So nice to walk out your back door right onto the beach, especially with kids. The room itself could use an updating and as other reviews said the back door still doesn’t lock…other than that everything was great! Would stay here again.

The condo was beautiful! It had everything we needed and well stocked with cookware, towels and bedding. The best was being on the first floor with a patio. We only had to walk a few steps to the beach access! I will definitely try to stay in this unit again!

The best trip ever!

The location of A3 was great! Just walk out the door and your feet are touching the white sand! I have stayed at Crystal Villas three times (different condos), and it seems to be my favorite place to stay. Wish I could stay forever! There were a few very minor things that needed a small repair, but the condo itself was great!

Just GREAT!

We wanted a unit by the water and we were completely blown away. Even got a close look of many dolphins from the porch view. Place was clean and no issues> My wife and I are both seniors and we were very comfortable with the area and this was only our second visit to the area. We will be back in the near future. Cute but outdated

We loved the location absolutely perfect. The downside to where the unit is specifically is the proximity to the pool. Quiet hours start at 10 but intoxicated individuals don’t abide by that. Also with the perk of being ground floor is the noisy upstairs neighbors. The appliances were all really outdated but worked. I feel like we didn’t spend enough time in the unit other than sleeping that it really mattered. The king bed could definitely use an update, our backs are killing us after a week. The beach chairs and umbrella along with the location made it worth it. Will definitely plan to stay here in the future.

Property ID 454884 Just stayed there this weekend June 24 - 26, 2022. BLUF no one should rent this condo until it is renovated to current housing codes and local safety standards. I paid $1,132.72 + VRBO fee 133 = $1,265.72 + Towneplace Suites $326.34 = Gran total $1.592.06 for a horrible weekend. I do not trust Realjoy Vacation or VRBO!! First impression upon entering the condo, musty smell from the extremely old carpet, condo was not properly clean (dusty, dirty) toilet was dirty, bathtub would not drain properly, living furniture is old, worn and dirty. The old wooden sliding door did not have a proper lock mechanism to secure the door, it had a 1/2" X 6" X 2' something board to secure the door. The kitchen bar stools cloth seat were old, worn and dirty. The AC was not properly cooling the condo and not strong enough to cool the bedroom - my wife refused to stay there on our second night. I checked into a Towneplace suite in Ft Walton on Saturday night. I advise realjoy Vacations of all of my issues - they apologized but took no action. I requested a refund and they declined - they suggested to decline the refund so that the unit could get reposted and a possible refund. Sounded good but its treachery on getting me to decline on a refund. This unit should be banned from VRBO until it is renovated to current code standards and not the 70's worn furniture and AC unit it has. This was a horrible experience for my wife, family, and myself. I should be refunded. I would appreciate someone from VRBO to contact me.

Location is great but that's about all

The location of Crystal Villas and this unit are excellent. The private beach is amazing and having the chairs and umbrella setup is one less thing to worry about. That’s the positive aspects and now for the rest of the story… The chairs and umbrella aren’t available until 9:00am and are put away by 5:00pm so you pay for an extra day (check-in or check-out) that you don’t really get to use them. The biggest issue it that the sliding doors to the patio/beach do not have functional locks. I called maintenance as soon as this was discovered. They sent someone out while we were gone and they “locked” the door; unfortunately, a firm tug on the handle and the door still opens. I called maintenance again and convinced them to bring a safety bar so I could secure the door. They dropped off a 1x6 piece of wood (not cut to size, but better than nothing) and assured me that maintenance would be by the next morning to fix the lock. They never showed up or called back. After looking back at review for this property it appears that the broken lock at this unit has been a known issue for months. Also mentioned in a previous review, is a broken toilet paper holder. It’s still broken after many months. Two of the four burners on the stove do not work. The outside of the refrigerator is rusty. The bedroom doesn’t have curtains or drapes so the pool lights shine into the bedroom at night, which may keep you up thinking about the horribly uncomfortable mattress, wondering why the carpet smells, or counting how many more times you’ll need to restart the dryer to get a single load of laundry dry (3 is the number). It’s clear that the owner and management company do not care about the condition of this unit. Friends of ours stay at another unit in the complex and did not have these issues. My advice: do not rent Crystal Villas A3.

Great stay

I can’t say enough good things about the place and stay. Close to everything and beach access was just a few steps away and I mean literally a few steps. Rooms were updated and very nice.
