Seabreeze Kemah 3600 sqft Waterfront Home with Beautiful Views of Galveston Bay
Home features 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths with travertine floors throughout most of the home and granite countertops in several of the bathrooms. The kitchen has views of the water and features stainless steel appliances including double ovens, a cooktop, ice maker, wine cooler, dishwasher and fridge. The home has large windows throughout, providing for lots of light and beautiful views. The large and open concept kitchen and living room with vaulted ceiling are located on the 2nd floor and are perfect for entertaining or relaxing. The bay views from both are exceptional. A large 2nd floor covered balcony with unending views of the bay, spans the entire width of the home and a second balcony facing the front of the home overlooks mature trees and a garden. A second smaller lounge/ living room with tv and built in cabinetry is positioned downstairs and can be used to entertain kids while adults prepare meals or watch tv upstairs. The 1st floor porch features some seating and a small table as well a propane grill for guests' use.
**Please note that the effects of several hurricanes this past summer unfortunately destroyed the pier. We are currently working on the redesign and rebuild of the pier.**
You can walk or bike directly to the local attractions like the Kemah Boardwalk and Lighthouse District featuring historic homes and unique and independent stores including art galleries, a winery, antique shops, apparel stores, restaurants and a candy shop.
HOUSE RULES:
Guests & Visitors may not venture onto neighbors' property, particularly: neighbors' driveways, piers, bulkheads, boat ramps and boat ramp steps. THE NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR'S BOAT RAMP AND ADJOINING BOAT RAMP STEPS, WHICH ARE LOCATED CLOSE TO THE NORTHERN PROPERTY LINE (WHERE SEABREEZE'S PROPERTY AND THE NEIGHBOR'S MEET), ARE EXTREMELY SLIPPERY AND DANGEROUS DUE TO ALGAE GROWTH. Guests and Visitors agree to fully indemnify Neighbors and Seabreeze's Owners from any harm that may arise from using or accessing Neighbors’ property. The booking party agrees to the waiver of Neighbors' and Seabreeze Owners' liability by reserving the property, and agrees to do so on behalf of all Guests and Visitors.
Parties, events, gatherings or any sort of loud get-togethers are forbidden. We ask that guests be mindful & respectful with respect to noise levels.
No additional guests (other than those included on the reservation) may visit the property, unless permission is obtained for others to visit.
Use of the Seabreeze property's pier and bulkhead is at Guests' and Visitors' own risk. Guests and Visitors agree to assume all responsibility while on or using the Seabreeze bulkhead and pier, including the pier's various features, including: boat slip, launch, decking, swim ladder, lighting, kayak, etc. No diving is allowed from the bulkhead or pier. Swimming, fishing and water float & watercraft use is also agreed to be done at Guests' and Visitors' own risk. The booking party agrees to the waiver of Seabreeze Owners' liability regarding use of the pier and bulkhead by reserving the property, agrees to do so on behalf of all Guests and Visitors.
Pets are welcome! Please, however, let us know what kind of pets and the number of pets that will be staying at the home, prior to booking. There is a $150/pet Pet Fee. VRBO only captures the charges for one pet when making a reservation, so if there are additional pets, we will follow up with a request for the additional pet fees post booking.
Please do not allow your pets on the furniture or bedding. We are pet owners ourselves and love them, but out of respect for other guests that are allergic to pet dander, we ask that you please have them stay off the furniture. In addition to the issue of allergies, it’s easy for pets to scratch furniture, often inadvertently.
