Guests have access to entire private basement apartment. BUT does not feel like a basement, bright and roomy!

Guests will be greeted personally at check in and we will help with any questions upon settling in. I am available any time if you have any questions.

All beds are provided with high quality cotton sheets,
All towels and toiletries will also be supplied during rental.
For those guests staying longer than a week we offer a weekly cleaning service for an additional cost.

The location is one of the top reasons why you will enjoy our home. It's less than a 5 minute walk to grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, boutiques, liquor stores, theatres, health food stores, etc. If you need to take transit it is a 2 minute walk to 2 streetcar lines. We are close to two of Toronto's major streets, Bathurst and Queen. You can take the streetcar to either the Bloor Line or University subway lines usually within 15 minutes.

Lovely Basebent Apartment

We loved our stay in Toronto. Ann was a perfect host. She took the time to welcome us in person and show us around the apartment, as well as check on us during our stay. It was very HOT in Toronto while we were there so she responded very quickly to our request to adjust the AC temperature. Very accommodating!! This is a perfect place with easy access to public transportation, as well as within reasonable walking distance to various neighborhoods. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints. :-) We would definitely stay here again while visiting Toronto. We look forward to returning some day to see more of your fine city. Thank you so much, Ann!!

Ann was a great host. The property had all the amenities you could every ask for. The property was very comfortable and made you feel right at home. It was my first time visiting Toronto and Ann had so many good suggestions for things to do and visit in Toronto. OUTSTANDING ACCOMODATIONS WITH AN OUTSTANDING AND ATTENTIVE HOST

Our stay was outstanding and Ms. Chong was a most attentive and helpful host. The very neat and immaculate two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit was exactly what we wanted and it was in a location, proximate to the convention center and financial district, that we wanted. We will be bact to Toronto again next year and certaintly hope to reserve this unit again.

This basement suite is a little gem, on a quiet street near the Queen west district. The owners are very welcoming, kind, and caring people, and this is reflected in the space they have created for travellers to come and have a home away from home. The space is spotless, warm and well lit (awesome heated floors). The place is well stocked and all the amenities are in excellent condition. It was a treat to stay here.

My son and I had an excellent stay at Ann and Ted's apartment. It is located in a cool but quiet neighborhood near stores, restaurants, and Graffiti Alley. The apartment is very nicely designed with two bedrooms, two baths, and a very nice kitchen. It is meticulously clean and the hosts have left everything you need for your stay. Ann and Ted are very nice people and extremely responsive.

Best rental ever!!

The hosts were so nice. They even provided home made Banana Bread when we arrived in the middle of the night and had not eaten. Our flight was very late. The apartment was everything that was advertised and more. This was the best stocked rental we have ever had. We usually use a rental apartment for at least one of our trips yearly. It was also spotless. When we return to Toronto, we plan on staying there again.

We can't say enough great things about the apartment and our stay in Toronto. Ann andTed insisted on meeting us the first evening to acclimate us to the apartment in the area. We were so grateful they did this as it was our first trip to Toronto. They provided great information and their knowledge of Toronto really helped our stay. The location was outstanding. The surrounding area looks a little rough at first but we felt comfortable after going out walking the first night. The area bars restaurants and shopping area very trendy. Everything we wanted to see in Toronto was a short walk or Uber. If we come back to Toronto, as we hope to, we will definitely stay at the same apartment.

We traveled as a family of four and this home was perfect for our needs! Ann and Ted were so hospitable and their home is located in an ideal location -- close to restaurants, cafes', the grocery store, and attractions. We were able to walk to 90% of our activities. In addition to a superb location, the home was impeccably clean with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. Ann and Ted even came to welcome us on our first day, told us everything we'd need to know about the home's amenities, and even gave us recommendations for attractions and restaurants. Bright, beautiful, comfortable apartment! We felt very much at home here; 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and laundry! Grocery store a block away! Southern Hospitality in the North

Ann and Ted were the most wonderful host/hostess. They helped us to unload our vehicle, showed us around the apartment. It was beautifully decorated, well equipped and Ann even called during the week to make sure we did not need more dishes. Prior to our visit, she kept me updated on the weather and events my 11 year old grandson may find interesting. She even made a heavenly cake which she shared with us. The floors are heated and super nice. Beds were so comfortable. It is centrally located to everything we do while in Toronto. We will be back in Oct and if it is available we will return here. No problem with parking it was at our door but with everything in walking distance and the TTC (public transportation) it was not moved til we left.

Our rental was exactly as shown on the website!

Our rental was in a great location! We didn't have to use a cab once we could walk everywhere! Very close to downtown, rogers centre, CN tower, Rigleys aquarium. Lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance? Our rental was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need! Owners were very helpful and knowledgeable! We would definitely stay here again?

Ann and Ted are wonderful hosts. They had information about local restaurants, coffee shops, attractions, etc. ready for us upon our arrival. The location of the suite was near Queen St. and Bathurst, perfect for walking around and exploring the neighbourhood. The suite had 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, perfect for a family of four. It was newly renovated and everything was so modern and clean. The suite was well-appointed with appliances, dishes, utensils, pots and pans. It was so nice to have a place to cook breakfast in the mornings. I would recommend this place to other families!

Home away from home

With two small children under the age of 5, we were looking for a place to stay that had all the conveniences of home located in a central part of town. This place had everything we needed to feel at home and it made our vacation easy! It was very clean (so I didn't have to worry with the children) and had all the amenities we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. With a pharmacy and Loblaws close by, it was easy to care for the children. The hospitality provided by the owners, Ann and Ted, was fabulous (we even got a lovely welcoming gift basket) and they had no problems with extending our check-out time when our flight got delayed! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Clean and convenient

The stay begins with Ann meeting you at the flat, explaining how every feature of the flat works, and offering to show you where the shopping is located. The flat is unbelievably clean, comfortable to sleep, cook, and eat in. The location is convenient to the downtown area and we had a great view from the back steps of the CN Tower fireworks on the 150th Canada Day on July 1. The concern and pride that Ann has in taking care of her guests is easily evident.

Ann was great, as was her place. She sent us information beforehand on the expected weather during our stay and things we might like to do. The suite is nicely stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen. She even had a nice welcome basket for us when we arrived. Ann also got back to us quickly with any questions we had. Our Toronto Experience

At first look, we had a little concern regarding the neighborhood. Once we met Ann and saw the apartment, our whole perspective changed. Ann thought of everything from washer/dryer to soap and shampoo, to the fully equipped kitchen and heated floors. Ann also provided great advice and information about the area--how to get around the area and what to do. She even escorted us to the grocery store and helped us get familiar with the area and day-to-day routine. We loved our experience and our host. Perfect in everyday. We have a new friend in Toronto!!

This apartment was ideal for me. I love this end of Queen street and the apartment was bright and modern. The kitchen had everything you could want to cook. The owners were very helpful and had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Has two bathrooms so would be Convenient for two couples or a family. Will definitely be on my list when I am back in Toronto

If you don’t like walking you can always take a nice Uber ride:). We like to travel so we know what every traveller wants in their home-away-from-home, from little things like lint rollers to a garlic press in your gourmet kitchen, we want you to feel like you have everything you need and then some! We enjoy meeting people from all over the world and welcome you to one of the trendiest areas in Toronto!
