-We are up ON THE ZION MESA; MUCH CLOSER to ZION NATIONAL PARK (15 minutes drive)than the accommodations in Hurricane or LaVerkin (25-30 minutes drive).

-Our vacation house is RECENTLY RENOVATED with WiFi, new paint, tile, flooring, furniture, bedding, linen, light fixtures, faucets, bathtub, appliances, and a new roof.
-SAFETY NOTE- The ceilings in the back of the house containing the hall, laundry room, and the queen/twin bedded room are quite low. If you are especially tall, you may hit your head on the doorways, or the ceilings.
-AIR CONDITIONING UNITS in all bedrooms.
-Evaporative Cooling in the living areas.
-CHILDREN: accommodation is suitable for ages 3-17 (Tell me their Ages, please): ALL CHILDREN MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE GUEST COUNT.

Groceries, Shopping, & Gas are just 10 minutes down the Mesa. Road to Kolob starts just 2 blocks away.
-Town of SPRINGDALE is the town located just before the Entrance to Zion NP. It has many restaurants, gift shops, a supermarket, and 2 gas stations. There is another market, a variety store, and 2 more gas stations just 6 miles down the mesa in LaVerkin.
-BRYCE CANYON, LAKE POWELL, GRAND STAIRCASE NATIONAL MONUMENT, GRAND CANYON NORTH RIM:

Great find!

This place was perfect! It had everything we needed and the location was great with so many hiking trails nearby. The host was so nice and she left us food for our breakfasts and even made us nut free cookies!!!

Zion National Park visit

Excellent stay for the family! The property was exactly as described. Very clean, neat and had everything we needed to make our short stay more comfortable. The hostess even included breakfast for us and homemade Banana bread! Communication was excellent and I recommend completely for a family stay.

Our family of 5 had a lovely stay at this cute house. It was super clean which we greatly appreciated. It was also well appointed which made eating in very easy. And the area is just stunning! Thanks for the great stay!

Driving up to the property, first thing we see is hummingbirds flying around birds feeder. Next we had homemade goodies, champagne grapes, eggs, milk, bread, garden vegetables, and coffee waiting on us. The grapes and vegetables grown on property. Alicia, property manger was excellent and very responsive. She accommodates all our needs and was warm and welcoming. The only hiccup was 107 degrees weather and air conditioners could not keep up with the heat. Alicia promptly addressed and gave us the secret sauce to keep everything working to the fullest ability. Over all 10/10z

This cottage is better than the description. The house has plenty of room for 6 guests and is located about a 20 minute short drive to Zion entrance.

We loved our home 😍. Alicia was wonderful to take care of all our needs, and the individual cheese cakes waiting for us. She also had great advice on things to do. House was very clean and well stocked with cooking things, etc. We will definitely stay here again when we come this way again.

Holiday weekend getaway

It was close to Zion NP south gate without being to close to all the traffic. Its quite the cozy little house that accommodates 4 adults perfectly. Quite neighborhood just a block away from the main highway. Easy acces in and out of the property. The host responded quickly to my questions and even had some homemade brownies for us when we arrived. I would stay here again if we were to come back to the area.

Pride of ownership

I would highly recommend this house to any one going to the Zion area. I could tell you about all the things I liked about this house, but it would be a repeat of the other reviews - communication, the baked treats, cleanliness, location, price, etc. All of those are great. All of those are achievable by most owners. What set this house apart was the Pride of Ownership. The owner obviously wanted to make a great get away location. I could tell in the initial communications that she really enjoyed this vacation spot, and wanted us to enjoy it also. She did everything I could think of, or expect, to make our trip very memorable. Thank you for letting us stay in your vacation getaway house!!!

We stayed here while visiting Zion National Park as an anniversary trip. The house was just as described in VRBO. It was clean, quiet, easy to access, and very comfortable. Rosemary, the host, supplied us with breakfast food and even had some hand picked flowers for our anniversary. The kitchen wasn’t packed with old, random pots and pans. There were newer pieces in good condition placed in the cupboards to make them easy to find. It was so nice! We definitely recommend this house for your trip to Zion.

Great stay close to Zion

Very clean home with everything you need! Rosemary was a very good communicator and even provided breakfast items for us. I loved that we had use of a washer and dryer, and it was an easy drive from Zion. Made me feel like I was staying at my grandma’s house.

Practically Perfect in Every Way!

This property is so thoughtfully organized: Any kitchen utensil you could need, a basic stock of groceries, a myriad of temperature control items (fans, swamp cooler, AC, heaters, etc...) games, outdoor space, furniture, towels, toiletry items, etc... It felt like being at home, but with amazingly close access to Zion and surrounding areas. Rosemary and her daughter were incredible hosts-so hospitable and communicative. Would definitely stay again!

This was a cute house for our family. We loved the close proximity to Zion. It was so welcoming to have breakfast items in the fridge upon our arrival with a warm hand written note at the door.

Perfect little home close to Zion

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was neat and clean and we sincerely appreciated the little “extras” that the host provided- bread, milk, eggs, laundry supplies, basic toiletries. Check in and check out were simple, instructions were clear, host had great communication! The location was a perfect distance from Zion without being in the heart of a tourist district and was close to restaurants, movie theater, etc. We had an amazing time and highly recommend this home to anyone looking to check out Zion!

I have hosted Guests since 2012 and have had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of travelers from all over the world. And I hope that staying at my property may add to their enjoyment of their holidays, wedding festivities, or work stays.
We love living in the Southwestern United States' high desert for the past 28+ years and never take it's beautiful scenery for granted.
Travel is one of our favorite things to do. My husband and I especially like to travel by cruise ship. We have been to over 95 countries, with some of our favorites being Italy, Turkey, Malta, and Thailand.
I truly enjoy being a Vrbo Host and I love having this opportunity to help my Guests have a great visit when they come to Southern Utah.

Why they chose this property

When the opportunity arose to buy this property, we did not hesitate. We love the quiet comfort, the views, the sunsets over the Zion National Park mesa, and the easy going neighbors. Our daughter and her family are nearby, and we will be passing the house on to the next generation someday.

What makes this property unique

Older homes may not have all of the latest styles and gadgets, but they have their own special history, and even mystery, about them. One may look around and wonder why and when a change was made. And whom the previous occupants may have been.
I guess the large front porch under the pine trees is my favorite spot to sit. It has nice views, including the "hummingbird wars" by the feeder.
