property was very good

We enjoyed our stay at Windy Cove very much. The location is great, close to so many things we love to do. The neighbors were nice and the grounds were well maintained. The one thing that needed improving on is the lounge chairs by the pool and beach. There were only 3 that were not dry rotted and torn. The pool was clean and heated. There was construction going on on both sides of us, so it was noisy. I would not rent from Freewheeler Vacations again, I had a few problems with them, but the unit itself was fine.

Holiday getaway

This week was Christmas with our grown kids! We had a lovely time! The house, the pool, the islands were all fabulous! Thank you!

Great Family stay

We truly enjoyed our visit! The unit had every appliance needed, other than the toaster (you have to hold down the handle until it’s done). The tv/cable box did go out continuously, but there’s plenty to do besides watching tv. The washers and dryers are a fantastic bonus! We loved the pool area and grill. We do wish the beach had been clean enough to use, but that is no fault of the owners. It was covered in sargassum. The location is perfect. It’s in walking distance to the Tiki Bar and the OV. Theatre of the Sea sits right in front of it. You will wake up to a beautiful view every morning.

Great location!!

The place was great, and with a new dock, but with some problems. 1st the pool was great but needed to be cleaned and I mean cleaned. The pool guy finally showed up 1 day before we left and the cleaning skimmer was broke. 2nd a couple of the stair wood was off and loose and the handrail going up to the 3rd floor was pulled out of the wall. The AC needs to be checked, is was cold but working too hard. I would rent again even with these small and fixable items...
