This classic Keys home has a relaxed, beachy feel and plenty of space for families or groups traveling together. Upstairs features a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom layout with comfortable living areas and coastal charm throughout. Downstairs offers a separate 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom space with its own kitchenette, creating a great setup for extended family, friends, or multiple couples traveling together.

Spend your days swimming, kayaking, or simply relaxing in the sand just steps from the house. In the evenings, enjoy ocean breezes and beautiful Keys sunsets in a peaceful setting that feels worlds away from the everyday.

Located on Lower Matecumbe in the heart of Islamorada, you're close to some of the best fishing, boating, restaurants, and local spots the Keys have to offer while still enjoying the privacy of your own beachfront getaway.
Islamorada Vacation Rental License Number- 24-0387 Per Islamorada's vacation rental ordinances for weekly rentals 2 people per bedroom are allowed, and 2 additional guests if under the age of 6.

Payments for your vacation rental will be made thru Freewheeler Vacations. You will also see a charge from VRBO which covers their booking service fee which is already included in the total cost. We prefer payments via personal check or eCheck. However, if you opt to pay by credit card, a 3% convenience fee will be applied to your rental. You will receive the Freewheeler Vacations Vacation Rental Agreement via email, which must be signed before your arrival. All future correspondence will be made through Freewheeler Vacations.

Nice location , overall nice house

Nice house overall, didn’t use the first floor because unsure when it had been cleaned. Definitely should have the deck boards replaced due to silvers. We ended up cleaning the bathrooms as we arrived. Property management team was great. Needs to adjust the description to not include other beaches as they are privately owned. Overall a nice place, safe neighborhood.

Thank you for your response. Good or Bad, we appreciate them all. I would like to say, if ever there's an issue at any home, please call us right away! If we don't know there is a problem, we can't fix it. The deck was replaced about a year ago, so there should not be slivers. And the house was cleaned top to bottom! As for beaches in the Keys, they are few and far between. On this particular street, and in most beachfront subdivisions in the Keys, it's not public. Hope to see you again soon!

Little get away

My husband and I rented the property with a couple friends and my daughter and son in law. The property was very clean and as advertised. I would absolutely rent again. The only down side was the sea weed was so thick and had quite a smell as it washed up in the beach. But that was obviously no fault of the owners. Just the time of year we rented(end of may). If you are looking for a quiet get away I would absolutely recommend.

Gorgeous beach location

This home is a little slice of paradise. Located in a perfect spot with its own beach. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants and shopping. The downstairs patio is great for keeping cool and watching sea life all day. The upstairs deck excellent for morning coffee and watching the moon rise at night. The home is a little older so it has some idiosyncrasies, but the owners addressed the issues we had right away. The company aquaholics delivered paddle-boards and kayaks right to the house! We highly recommend! We paddled with manatees right in front of the house, and a sea turtle laid a nest of eggs less than a foot from the patio. There was so much sea life to observe and we fished from the sandbar and shore and caught plenty of fish! There was plenty of room for everyone.

The water was not as clear with lots of seaweed. The downstairs ac was not working good needed batte

excellent house, ac downstairs did not work at all when we got there, the thermostat needed batteries, we put batteries and it worked after that but did not get cooler than 75. Also, when it rained, downstairs unit was leaking from somewhere into the room. Key was left in lock box.

Lower level not habitable due to mold

Both levels smelled bad when we arrived. We opened the property up for awhile which helped upstairs. I spent the first night in a lower level bedroom despite the fact that it still smelled like mold. The rest of the week I slept on the couch upstairs due to black mold on the side of the refrigerator and baseboards downstairs. Mgmt company sent cleaning person out. It smelled like they sprayed a chemical downstairs which was worse than the mold. We didn't open the downstairs again. (upstairs & downstairs weren't connected) We also had to clean the bathrooms on arrival. One shower was covered with hair. All were dirty. Walls are covered with dirt especially near vents. Mgmt didn't offer any compensation for the fact that we had to clean and 2 bedrooms weren't usable. Fortunately there were only 3 of us. We don't recommend this property.

Hey there! Thank you for your review. Good or bad, we appreciate them all. It helps our owners keep their homes in tip top shape. Living on an island definitely comes with it's challenges. The salty humid air can sometimes create a "mildew" type smell. It's not from lack of cleanliness, just humidity. We followed up and were told that mildewy smell was gone and all was perfect. We're sorry you did not feel it was and wish you would have called to tell us so. Hopefully you had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the beach and the cool sea creatures.

Amazing quiet peaceful beachfront property

I own a business and work hard so I was looking for a quiet get away where I would not be disturbed. This property is exactly what I was looking for! It is quiet (none of the neighbors were there), peaceful (on the beach), and beautiful! The kitchen and living room area look to be remodeled and look a lot better than the pictures currently posted in the listing. There's plenty of cookware for you to cook your own meal (or have a private chef come cook for you!), plenty of towels, and great spaces for lounging. It is very dark at night and the stars are so clear! I will definitely be back and can't wait to return to this beautiful beach front property!

Great location

We had a blast and this place comfortably fit my family while in town for our wedding. The pictures don’t do this place justice, it was gorgeous and just what we were looking for. It was on a private street and close access to things around Islamorada. We would definitely come back!

Incredible Getaway

This house isn't sparkly and new but it is amazing! Perfect layout for a big family! The location is second to none! I loved relaxing in the hammock in our yard (beach)! Super quiet and nice neighborhood! We even had two sea turtles lay eggs while we were there!

House needed thorough deep cleaning and dusting and maintenance and the beach wasn’t our idea of a bathing/swimming beach. Good location. Views of ocean and night sky were amazing.

Great location in the mid keys. Beach and neighborhood was great.

Really liked the location. Beach is as soon as you step off the deck. Enough room for eight, we did notice they added a pull out couch. The key is in the middle so it's a short drive to key Largo or Key West.
