To maintain peaceful relations with our neighbors, we do not allow parties or events and this property is not available for local residents hosting gatherings. This house is best suited to guests visiting Memphis, and need a quiet, comfortable place to stay. With that out of the way...

Welcome to Midtown! Experience Memphis like a local in this 3 bedroom Tudor style home, built in 1934 but has been recently renovated. Traditional and formal, yet charming and very elegantly decorated. The master bedroom is something to behold but the star of the show is the on-suite shower. More like a spa-like retreat, featuring a marble-tiled walk-in shower, with a bench and rain shower head, personal sprayer wand, and a sleek frameless shower door. The heart of the home, the kitchen, (fully stocked) is a culinary dream with gas cooking, double ovens, and rich aromas that invite memorable gatherings. The gas fireplace in the living room adds a touch of romance to the ambiance and promises cozy evenings. Amenities include central AC, gas stove, new appliances and High Speed WIFI.

This property is ideal for those with mobility challenges as almost everything is on the primary, street level floor.

Since the airport is only 15 mins away, we do hear some planes fly overhead. Earplugs will be provided for any who are sensitive to noise at night.

Bonus room also has a 72" Smart TV with Amazon Fire Stick so you can connect to whichever streaming service you choose, or use my Netflix, Peacock, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and Hulu subscriptions. This space can accommodate 2 additional guests on a queen bed.

This 4,400 sq/ft house sleeps 6 on the main floor and 8 total if the bonus room upstairs is also used. Master Bedroom (king bed), guest room 1 (queen bed), guest room 2 (queen bed) and then the bonus room which also has a full bathroom, can be set up (if requested in advance) with another queen bed for the 7th and 8th guests. (There is a one time $75 add-on "set up fee" for this 4th bed) 3 full bathrooms in total available for your use. You'll also want to enjoy your breakfast and morning coffee in our sun room with a gorgeous 360 view of our garden - absolutely stunning when everything is blooming.

You are very well located here in Midtown with many attractions nearby! Visit Beale Street, Graceland, Sun Studios, Overton Square, Shelby Farms, University of Memphis, Rhodes College or the Zoo in well under a 20 mins drive, and most in just 10 mins. Not to mention some amazing Memphis BBQ spots and other great restaurants right here in Midtown, just a few mins away.

The property was beautiful! The house had great craftsmanship and was beautifully decorated. There was plenty of space for my wife, two kids, plus myself. We really enjoyed the space. The WiFi worked great; great WiFi it’s a must-have for modern times. The linens were clean, the house was clean. The place looked better in person compared to pictures. The yard is a great place to listen to the wind blow through the trees. The area was nice, easy access to anywhere in Memphis. The host (Steven) was amazing. I have to say he is the best host I’ve experienced on this app. He was communicative, the house had everything we needed. The level of detail put in, is top notch.

Our house flooded and we needed a place to stay during the repairs. It was a home away from home.The house is stunning. Beautifully remodeled and decorated.It is clean and very well appointed. We had everything we would ever need. Great shower and comfortable beds. (My priority in a vacation rental.) Steven is the perfect host. We were sad to leave.

Fabulous house. Gated parking in back. Huge backyard with large, beautiful trees. Big bedrooms with very comfortable beds and a great shower in the master bathroom. Fully stocked kitchen so easy to cook if you want. The owner is very nice and accommodated an early check in for us. He was easy to reach if necessary, but didn’t bother us whatsoever. Great restaurants nearby, including Brother Juniper’s for breakfast. We will definitely stay at this house again in the future.

Beautiful and charming vintage property! The kitchen is well equipped, and we loved the dining and sunrooms. The location is central to mamy of the Memphis attractions. The host is on-site in a basement apartment, and very responsive. The property has one TV downstairs, but it's located in one of the bedrooms. There is another TV upstairs in a small media room with theater seats. The 3rd bathroom is located in the media room however there are no bedrooms upstairs. Overall our family enjoyed the stay!!

This Midtown home in Memphis truly IS absolutely stunning. Staying there brought to mind the movie “Christmas in Connecticut” -look it up! This home is ready to host grand dinner parties, stocked with beautiful table linens for the exquisite dining room. Lounge in the grand living room by the gas fireplace while visiting with friends. A sunroom has a large round table perfect for morning coffee. The three bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, the bathrooms are grand, the main suite is an elegant escape. Upstairs you’ll find a media room with three large massage recliners in front of a large screen as well as a treadmill for those who can’t sit still! The huge back yard is quite a hidden treasure. The home is on a busy street but we didn’t notice once inside. An electric gate secures the back drive and yard. This area of town is filled with beautiful historic architecture, simply beautiful. Steven is a great host who is ready to meet your needs and make your stay perfect.

What a wonderful experience in every possible way. We were in town visiting our daughter. The location is very central easy to get around. The Market Fresh is just around the corner! The house is gorgeous and it felt like home. This is a larger house and we had family traveling with us, so the family room was perfect. The sofa and chairs are down and you can sink in and relax! The sunroom was a perfect fit for morning coffee and conversation. The primary bedroom is gracious and lovely with a super comfy mattress!!! The primary overlooks the back yard and everything was in bloom! The grounds are as lovely as the house. Steven the host, communicated with me to perfection. Everything went perfectly! Don’t miss this one!!! It feels like home!!!

I'm a court interpreter and speak 4 languages including Spanish and French. Hospitality is in my blood, so I'm looking forward to looking after all your needs during your stay!

I'm a foodie so I don't mind sharing my recommendations for great local eateries, from fine dining (definitely recommend Porch and Parlor, Itta Bena and Coastal Fish Company), international spots like Sabor Caribe (Venezuelan) and Local Lime for phenomal tacos and margaritas, to comfort food spots like Slider Inn and Hattie B's. And we didn't even get into the BBQ (definitely recommend Elwood's Shack). Expect to use your stretchy pants by the end of your stay because that's part of what Memphis is about!

Family circumstances have recently changed and this is now entirely way too much house for us! So we decided to share our home with ya'll for the foreseeable future.

Midtown is the jewel of Memphis, we love it! It's an actor to the arts scene and The Annual Cooper Young Art Festival draws 120,000 people.

To quote Wikipedia: Midtown is characterized by vintage residential housing, a blend of independent and chain retailers, and high-rise buildings. Multiple historic districts are located in Midtown, and commercial corridors such as Overton Square and Cooper Street developed before World War II in an urban style.

Note: For your safety and comfort, we recommend exploring other nearby areas for walking or sightseeing, as the immediate neighborhood can occasionally attract colorful characters. Let us know if you'd like suggestions for local spots that are vibrant and welcoming!
