Wonderful location within the Massanutten resort community. Easy check in. Prompt/easy communication with host. Interior is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The yoga/meditation loft and kids' reading room are both creative, unexpected use of space. Great ideas! Easy wifi connection, well stocked kitchen, relaxing study area, 2 huge bathrooms with high end finishes, relaxing wrap around deck with gas grill and gas firepit, overlooking dense trees. (We loved the three bucks that joined us for morning coffee.) We enjoyed hiking the nearby trails, lunch at the Grill and evening walks with our pup around the tranquil neighborhood. Eagle's Nest exceeded our expectations. We had such a wonderful stay, we hope to book it again for our anniversary in Oct.

I am a fun loving Navy Officer who loves to travel and make time spent with family and friends enjoyable. I love to open my home to other families and those who love adventure so that they may enjoy time spent together and create lasting memories.

Why they chose this property

I love the Massanutten resort area because it is an opportunity to get away from the busy DC area to relax, breathe clean air and get outdoors! I love the nearby hiking trails and the ski slopes and I also love that there is something for everyone to enjoy - the Indoor/Outdoor Water Park, Golf Course, miniature golf, go karts, bumper cars, a spa, the nearby wineries ... I absolutely love this area!

What makes this property unique

It is cozy and carefully curated to maximize the time spent together as a family or friend group.
