We travel often with our own young kids, so we built our "dream stay" with all the details usually missing from rentals. From a fully-stocked kitchen to separate levels for kids and adults, we’ve handled the "little things" so you can just show up and relax!

THE LAYOUT AND VIEWS
Perched on the mountainside and backing up to the George Washington National Forest, you’ll wake up to sunrises over the peaks.

UPPER LEVEL: Open living area with a cozy fireplace and our signature "hyggekrog" (reading nook). Includes the Master King Suite, a Queen bedroom, and a Twin room.

LOWER LEVEL: The "Fun Zone"! A second living room with a game area featuring a 9-foot shuffleboard and two arcade machines. Includes a Queen bedroom and a playroom with a Double sofa bed.

The home is on a hill with a steep, narrow driveway—it’s the secret to our incredible views! You can drive right to the front door for easy unloading. (4WD/AWD highly recommended in winter).

RESORT AMENITIES
WATERPARK: The Massanutten Waterpark is undergoing a massive renovation in 2026 to add new slides and family fun!
ADVENTURE CENTER: Just a 3-minute drive for skiing, tubing, and mini-golf.
POOLS: There are several indoor and outdoor pools in the resort area available for your use.

Policies/House Rules:
-Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available and do incur a small fee.
-There are two cameras on the property exterior for your safety – one monitoring the driveway/deck stairs and another in the back yard to watch for wildlife. No cameras are present inside the home.

This home is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA) and is governed by its rules and regulations, as well as federal and state laws and local ordinances. There are short-term rentals in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, or owners of second homes enjoying their retreat. Please respect their privacy and property rights, along with those of other guests in our private residential community.

NOISE
Noise that is unreasonable in the judgment of MPOA or its designated agent is prohibited at any time. Quiet Hours are between 10 P.M. and 7 A.M.

PARKING
All tires must be off the roadway. DO NOT BLOCK FIRE HYDRANTS! Our private neighborhood roads are "highways" for law enforcement purposes per Rockingham County ordinance. Do not park adjacent to any other homes or lots unless this home's owner or property manager has told you he has explicit permission for you to do so. Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed. If you cannot park all your vehicles on this property or on the adjoining shoulder of the road, overflow parking is available at: the MPOA Owners' Swimming Pool parking lot at 4007 Peak Drive. NOTE: Buses, campers and RVs may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. With prior MPOA approval they may be parked in the overflow lot during your stay.

NO OPEN FIRES
You are in an area that is at risk for wildfire! NEVER leave any outdoor fire unattended.

ALCOHOL
Open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area.

PETS
Pets are not allowed to run at large. They must be leashed at all times when off this property. Pet owners are required to clean up after their pets.

TRASH
DO NOT place trash anywhere outside the house, including on screened porches. It will attract wildlife that could endanger you and damage the property.
