Hideaway in the Woods boasts exceptional cabin living on three levels. Four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms allow for comfort and privacy for the entire family with 3,100 sq. ft. of living space. There is tons of gathering space on the main level with a wood burning fireplace, vaulted pine ceilings, open concept living living area and walk out to a large deck overlooking the forest. Nature abounds and you could see deer, wild turkey, and maybe a bear or two, The kitchen is well appointed to cook your incredible fare, just bring your groceries and condiments. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The main level you have a master bedroom and an ensuite bathroom. Down stairs you'll find a finished basement with yet another master bedroom with an amazing spa-like ensuite bath. Spend time in the lower level game room with a lounging area, flat screen TV, arcade basketball, air hockey and ping pong. Walk outside the lower level patio to the hot tub and firepit in the private wooded setting. To top it all off, Hideaway in the Woods is located in the Coosawattee River Resort where family fun is at your fingertips. Tube down the Coosawattee River, visit one of the pools, visit the many parks, rec center, mini golf, tennis courts, etc. The Coosawattee has it all.

I'm a military veteran, serving 22 years in the USAF. I live in Ellijay, Ga. and have 10 years of hosting and property management experience.
Why they chose this property
Hideaway in the Woods has a main deck with rocking chairs, wooded views and a gas grill. The kitchen is fully stocked with a drip coffee maker, crock pot, blender, toaster, dish washer, stove microwave, refrigerator, cookware and more. The cabin includes two king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms with luxury towels, private label soaps, shampoo and conditioner. There are TVs in the upstairs bedroom, living room (with DVD player), master bedroom on main level, and the basement game room. High-speed internet, cable TV and puzzles, games and books provided. The cabin has ample parking provided. During the summer, the Coosawattee River Resort pools are open to guests with a pass, provided in the cabin. This is a pet friendly (dogs only), with restrictions. Please inquire first before bringing a pet.
What makes this property unique
Breezy Bear is located on the beautiful setting of Walnut Mountain, a gated community, approximately 5 miles (10 to 15 minute drive) from historic downtown Ellijay. You are just a short drive from Blue Ridge (15 miles, a 25 minute drive), Amicalola Falls State Park, the beginning or terminus of the Appalachian Trail (30 minute drive), Fort Mountain State Park (1 hour drive), Gahuti Mountain Trail (45 minute drive), and several Vineyards for wine tasting (Chateau Meichtry, Buckley,Ellijay River, Engelheim, Otts, and Roo, all within a 15 to 30 minute drive. Other attractions in the area are Cohutta Wildlife Management Area, for hiking and fishing, You can also take the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway (call to reserve a ride), a historic train ride through the stunning North Georgia Mountains. Through the entire year is a great time to visit the numerous apple houses for all kinds of fruits, vegetables, and fruit pastries and pies.
