I am a high school science teacher and I love nature! Long walks in the mountains or on the beach is where I prefer to be in my free time. My husband and I live in North Carolina. We have been married for twenty years. We visited Hilton Head Island for the first time to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and fell in love with the island. We keep coming back to visit every year!

Why they chose this property

We love that the unit is so close to the beach. Hilton Head Beach and Tennis is a resort. It has restaurants on the property, a huge pool, tennis courts, a gym, a playground for kids, and of course a nice beach to walk to. The island is easy to get around. Shelter Cove and Pinckney Wildlife Refuge are two of our favorite spots and it is a short drive from the resort.

What makes this property unique

It is a perfect property for a small family or a couple to stay on vacation. It is located on the first floor so you do not need to go up many flights of stairs. The pool and beach is very close to our unit-just a short walk away. It is a one bedroom unit with a queen bed. It does have bunk beds in the hallway and a sofa bed. The kitchen contains a large refrigerator, oven and microwave. The bathroom is recently remodeled with a beautiful tub/shower combination. There is a balcony that overlooks wetlands.
