So we checked in on Wednesday afternoon. Getting into the community is easy there are some steeper roads getting up to the property but after going in an out a few times its pretty easy. So first night get everyone settled in when we pulled our covers back there were blood marks on the sheets. We took the sheets off the bed and got them into the washer and found some other blankets in the closent we were just going to put on the bed for the night as we had some blankets with us from home. Well we get the blankets out of the closet an go to put them on the bed only to find a dryed crusty mess on the gray blanket. By this time it was almost 11pm we decided to sleep on top on the comforter and use our blankets from home. About 8:15am the next morning we are awoken by the contstruction next door as you can see from the pic that is the view looking out your front door. An this isnt just some hammering and guys talking, im talking gas powered concret saw slicing rebar at 8:30in the morning... I called summit rentals about the sheets they were apologetic and had offered to bring us fresh sheets. When i inquired about the construction if that was normal i was told that construction hours currently are from sun up to sun down. Also found a few what look to me like roaches, we are in the mountains so bugs usually get a pass but its noteable to me as we found 3. Long story short, there are beautiful views here but given our experience i wouldnt return to stay here nor recommend it.

This is not the standard we strive for, and we truly regret that the bedding and blankets were not in acceptable condition. As soon as you notified us, our team apologized and offered to bring fresh linens right away, as we always want to correct any issues as quickly as possible. Regarding the construction nearby, we understand how disruptive that can be, especially early in the morning. Unfortunately, construction activity is outside of our control, and local regulations do allow work from sunup to sundown. We do our best to inform guests when we are aware of nearby projects, but circumstances can change quickly. As for insects, being in a mountain setting does sometimes mean occasional bugs despite regular pest control, though we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’re glad you were able to enjoy the beautiful views, but we are truly sorry that these issues impacted your stay and prevented it from being the relaxing experience you expected. Your feedback is valuable and helps us continue to improve for future guests.
