Step inside our carefully crafted Oasis

Step inside our carefully crafted Oasis. The minute you arrive you'll be greeted with birds chirping & the smell of fresh mountain air! Enjoy the amazing views from every window in our home. The front windows showcase the pink hue of the crab apple tree & a grove of aspens. From the back patio you'll love the lake & mtn view. Three bikes provided for your enjoyment. Walk right out the back gate to the lake or a short walk across the bridge to play pickleball and frisbee golf.

This is your vacation; I am available as you would like.

Palmer Lake is a charming railroad mountain town. Palmer Lake is known for the many trains who make there way through each day and night. This property is located on the lake with direct lake access from the back yard. Year round you can enjoy the lake; ice fishing and skating in the winter. SUP, kayaking and fishing in the winter. Pickleball & frisbee golf are around the lake as well. Walk across the pedestrian bridge to the town restaurants.

You will have full access to the entire property.

Upon entering our home you will immedietly notice the gorgeous view of the lake and the patio. The spacious kitchen with gas range is located on the main level along with the living room, office (sleeper sofa & half bath located in this room) & master bedroom. Downstairs you will enjoy one more bedroom and bathroom and small living area with the additional sleeper sofa. Family games, 3 bikes & lawn chairs provided.

You will want a car to get around. Town of Palmer Lake is very walkable from this property.

This home is located on Palmer Lake. Right in front of Palmer Lake is the railroad tracks. Palmer Lake is known for its railroad activity, people travel near and far to enjoy the Railroad. If you are a light sleeper you may consider bringing ear plugs. Home has radiant heat in the floors. Each room can be adjusted to your prefered heat preference. Bikes are kept in the shed, lost key will incur a fee. Trash day is early Monday morning. Our home is non smoking and we love our furry friends, but pets are not allowed.

We took a family trip to visit my daughter for her 40th Birthday. 6 adults and 2 children slept comfortably in this beautiful home looking over the lake.Kichen is well stocked with pots and pans and some essentials to begin your stay.Hosts were quick and responsive with any issues large or small.Its a vacation we wont forget soon.

Great Stay!!

The house has a great view over Palmer Lake. It was fun to wake up early, walk around the lake and sit to drink coffee on the oversized deck. The bedrooms were accurately described, and the dining/living room was comfortable to relax in. It does not have A/C, so it was a little hot during the day, but it cooled down at night. Would stay again. Would suggest to add real beds instead of the pullout sofas for future guests, the rooms are more than big enough for a queen beds.

Beautiful Home with EZ Access to Trails and USAFA!

We stayed at this beautiful home while we celebrated our nephew’s graduation from USAFA. It is a short drive to the Academy, which was super convenient. Just as amazing is the home’s proximity to Palmer Lake and so many trail heads! Inside, the home is beautifully decorated and stocked with all you need to enjoy a cocktail on the deck or to cook a nice meal. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms on different levels afforded lots of privacy. The train tracks run nearby. Having lived near trains the occasional horns didn’t bother us, but we appreciated the ear plugs provided by the owner just in case.Overall, a lovely home we would happily book again for our next Colorado adventure!
