This fabulous house in Michigan City offers a terrific stay for guests. With 5 bedrooms including 4 queen beds and 2 bunk beds, there's plenty of space for everyone. The 3 bathrooms come equipped with hair dryers and showers for added convenience. Whether you're relaxing in the cozy living room or enjoying the WiFi throughout the house, you'll feel right at home. The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS - Leave all beds that were slept in unmade, used towels on mudroom floor. - Start a washing load of towels. (Prioritize beach towels if those were used)
- Load all of your dishes and wash. - Turn off all lights. - Set all thermostat to 72 degrees - Close all windows and lock doors.
- If leaving or staying on a Sunday/Monday, bring as much of your trash as possible to bins on the street - Send Jenelle a "we're out" text: 312-714-6215 Safe travels and we hope to see you again!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
QUIET HOURS (10PM-8AM) Any outdoor music must stop at 10PM. Control voice levels

We stayed here after the holiday and had a fabulous time. This property is in the perfect location, minutes from the water and a short walk to the zoo. Exactly as described and perfect for a huge family. The owners were also very responsive and provided many amenities.

Great location close to the lake. Owners were easy to communicate with and answered questions s quickly. Had an issue with the hot water heater and they sent someone out to fix it within an hour. Lake was beautiful. Property had everything you could need. Will be back.

I can't imagine another house that would have accommodated us any better. It's absolutely beautiful inside with a view of the lake in walking distance for most. The manager was welcoming and very helpful when needed. Kitchen, eating space, and living areas were great. There were plenty of supplies and towels. The sleeping arrangements for our 12 worked out: Grandparents in one bedroom, great aunt in the other, family of 5 in the main floor suite, family of 4 downstairs. Note that the downstairs bunk beds are for children. Fortunately, our teen side sleeper folded into the bunk, and our young adult slept on a sofa down there. It was amazing to have parking for our four cars, but I must note that the driveway is incredibly steep and daunting. It does not appear possible, but it is if you come at it the proper way from below, as advised in the instructions. Really need to be brave and careful coming down. One car was too low to avoid scraping, so they took the parking spot on the street. Two male drivers managed the stress of up and down, but one female driver wound up with a panic attack and needed someone else to drive down. Michigan City is a fantastic vacation location that for some was just a one day drive from OK City. Parts of the family went into Chicago, to Holland and Grand Rapids, Michigan, over to Six Flags, to miniature golf and go-carts, to a movie, to the Baker mansion, to the botanical gardens, and to the beach daily, weather permitting. All recommended.
