Escape to A Little Secret, a peaceful 2-bedroom lakefront cottage with a private fishing dock, large screened-in porch just steps from the water, and everything you need to relax or explore. Fish at sunrise, kayak across Harris Brake Lake, lounge in hammocks, and end the day around the firepit under the stars.
NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features exterior security cameras on front, and back of the house all facing out.
This cottage is the perfect place to leave your worries behind and enjoy some relaxation. It features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, as well as a variety of modern amenities. If you want to kayak you can launch from the private dock. If you want to bring a fishing boat, there is a launch just up the road or across at the Marina. When you're not out on the water, you can relax on the dock and fish or on screened-in back porch, grill a meal, or cook up something new in the fully-equipped kitchen. There is a firepit. A dock with seating. Hammocks. Corn hole game. And in the mornings, you may catch amazing sunrises to your right while on the dock. In the evenings, enjoy the sunsets to the left on the dock.
Our home also offers several amenities to make your stay more comfortable, including central air conditioning, central heating, a washer and dryer, and free fast WiFi. We provide linens, towels, and basic toiletries, as well as a hair dryer and hangers in closets. We also have keyless entry for your convenience. A large 50" smart television. Sectional sofa. Board games, books, and DVDs.

Harris Brake is the third largest lake owned by the AGFC. Located adjacent Harris Brake Wildlife Management Area, this multi-use recreation site is one of the state's most popular outdoor destinations thanks to its close proximity to Little Rock, Conway, Morrilton and Russellville. Here visitors can enjoy a relaxing day fishing, hunting or just taking in the beauty of the Ouachita Mountain foothills. Petite Jean State Park is close for hiking and adventures, Pinnacle Mountain has beautiful trails. Hot Springs is fun for a day trip if shopping, spas or horse racing sounds fun.

Perfect getaway

We were looking for a place to relax and get away from work for the weekend and made a great choice. I had never heard of this area, but the lake is beautiful! The house was clean, well stocked and the back porch is amazing! Communication was great from the point of booking through the entire process.

This is such a cute little place on the lake! Great view of the lake and water access for kayaking. The pier on the water is great for fishing or just sitting and looking out at the water. My husband and I really enjoyed our time here! Mike and Darla are the perfect hosts and thought of every detail to make this a comfortable place to stay! I highly recommend for a nice relaxing getaway!

Baseball getaway

Wow! What a gorgeous place! We were in town for the World Series in Conway. We drove 45 minutes out of the way to stay here. Boy was it worth it! Wonderful hosts who respond quickly when needed!

This place was very charming with all the lake decor. The bed slept like a dream. We made many trips to the dock to watch the sunrise and sunset, beautiful views! The host was very responsive in every communication. The community, the neighbors were very welcoming. I have never felt safer! The husband caught lots of fish and was excited, priceless memories!!! And on my birthday we were treated to this beautiful harvest moon.

We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The peaceful lakefront setting was just what we needed… quiet mornings, coffee with a view, and kayaking right out the back door.The location is incredibly central for day trips to hike, explore, and take in the local sights. We loved being able to venture out during the day and come back to this serene spot to unwind.The home itself had everything we needed… clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The cottage was really everything I was looking for and more. My favorite place was the screened in porch overlooking the lake. The views were awesome. It is easy to find and in a cul-de-sac providing privacy. There was nothing that I thought of that I forgot that I did not find at the cottage. They think of everything and are also very accessible. There was some type of glitch in the interent and thye called the internet provide and took care of everything. I appreciate that. You will not be disappointed.

Very clean with excellent lake views. A severe thunderstorm struck right before our arrival; the neighborhood lost power for a while. The owners contacted neighbors to bring us flashlights. Very considerate.

We love all that it offers including four distinct seasons, all the natural beauty through out, the rolling hills, the waterways, the outdoor activities, the stars ohhh the stars, the sunsets and sunrises, and the wonderful friendly people. Plus the slower pace.

This lake truly is a secret, even most of the locals in Little Rock dont know about it. It feels like you are at peace here. No traffic sounds, no big trucks, no highways, no crowds and just nature sounds.
