Had an absolutely great time at this beautiful, well kept, and quiet spot! It has it all from campfires to hot tub with many helpful amenities. Location was perfect for being able to go to many fun local spots. Would definitely book here again!
My friends and I had the best time staying here! There was plenty of space and the property was well maintained. We hope to come back next year! There was also a trail nearby that we were able to walk to from the house.
We came down to hike Hocking Hills and this house was in a great location to do that. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We loved the updates to the house and they did a great job keeping the old original charm. Lots of room for our family and close to many hiking trails.

I would remove the hot tub as it requires more maintenance than it gets. The deck and fire pit in the back were great. The property is beautiful and feels secluded.
Nice for families and within 15-20 minutes of most attractions.
The cabin was very spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes & cooking stuff. Great 2-tier deck, hot tub & fire pit. The only thing I would tweak is more dishwasher pods. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the double oven!! With 7 people, we needed to run more than one load. We would definitely go back to this cabin!
Very spacious location for a family birthday. Enjoyed the camp fire. Easy access to Hocking Hills
Host very responsive. Believe the hot tub chemicals may of been out of balance, water dirty. Kitchen very well stocked. Definitely would consider renting again. Thanks.
Great location tucked back in the woods with some wildlife. (Wild turkey and deer were seen ) Large area outside for the kids to roam and play and a nice game area in the basement with a ping-pong table and a foosball set up. Other card and board games were available for evening entertainment. The kitchen was nice and new looking with plenty of dishes and silverware as well as pots and pans.
On our rainy day the living room was left darker than we liked because of insufficient lighting. Would have rated higher but one bedroom was a pass through to another room. Also the landscaping could use some sprucing up. Other than that it was in excellent place for our gathering.

Nice Stay with a Few Issues
Overall, it was a good stay here for me and my family but we did experience a few issues. Our issues were not so much with the property itself. Our issues were with a few incidents that occurred and with the accuracy of the listing of a few items:
1) When we arrived, the house was still being cleaned. The cleaners were there for about an hour into our stay as we were trying to get settled in. Eventually the cleaners left with a load of laundry still in the wash.
2) Before I left for the trip, I inquired about the grill asking if it’s propane or charcoal in case I needed to bring charcoal. I contacted the owner and he said it was propane and it was provided. When I went to start grilling, we realized the grill was charcoal, and there was very little charcoal at the house and no lighter fluid provided. This was not good for our hungry family. I contacted the owner and he said we could go purchase charcoal and we would be reimbursed (not exactly what I wanted to hear), but then the person who must be the property manager contacted me saying he would bring charcoal and lighter fluid. He arrived about 2 hours later when it was dark with the items to start grilling. I had to grill in the dark for the family that night.
3) we wanted to do laundry, but there was no detergent. I contacted the owner and he said “detergent is not included.” This was strange considering the washer and dryer was listed. The property manger then brought us detergent.
Nice stay with a few problems.

Meet our needs quite nicely
This property is secluded from other rentals and has spacious grounds. The cabin is clean and very well stocked. We had all our meals on site and found everything we needed to cook. We do emphasize the WiFi is spotty but the owner states that upfront. We were in HH to be outside so we managed and had a great time.
We only wished the kitchen was stocked better. No coffee filters, no salt and pepper, no oil spray etc. Every place we have stayed in before had some basic supplies in kitchen. We also thought there were not enough towels. And only one kitchen towel. Name of cabin was different than Relaxing Cabin, it was actually called Cedar Stone cabin.
We enjoyed our weekend in the beautiful autumn colors of Hocking Hills. This house is in the woods, but very easy to get to. Directions were great. The kitchen and large table made a nice gathering space, along with the living area right there. It was a little tricky with the bedrooms being 'open' in the loft area, as sound may travel a bit. The room with the bunks had a door. Enjoyed a nice bonfire and saw a couple shooting stars.
The cabin was super cozy and very well equipped. We were 4 senior ladies and used the outside and inside fireplace, cooked in the well equipped, modern kitchen, and had a fabulous time! Even got a game of ping pong and a hot tub soak in between hikes in Hocking Hills! W
This was a fun place to stay - lots of places to hang out, and a great property! We enjoyed the fire pit & the adjacent trail. The house was clean & there were plenty of dishes, blankets, etc. Our group enjoyed the cabin feel of staying there. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!
The house was perfect for our annual girl's trip. I highly recommend this house
