About the host
Hosted by Jordan Taylor
Hi, I’m Jordan! I’m a wife, mom, and lifelong Central Oregon local who still wakes up every day in awe of this place I get to call home. I grew up exploring Bend’s trails and lakes, and now I get to share that same love of the outdoors with my own family.
Professionally, I run a small design and consulting firm that helps local businesses elevate their brand presence — everything from boutique hotels to coffee roasters to outdoor outfitters. I’ve built my career around helping others create welcoming experiences, and that same passion extends to hosting guests.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outside — paddleboarding the Deschutes on a summer morning, skiing at Mt. Bachelor, or biking along the Cascade Lakes Highway. My family loves to end the day downtown at one of Bend’s cozy restaurants, often with our favorite view of the river at sunset.
Hosting has become a natural extension of everything I love: creating beautiful spaces, meeting interesting people, and helping visitors fall in love with Central Oregon. My goal is always to make guests feel like locals — to point you toward that perfect hiking trail, the best brewery patio, or the quiet corner of the river where you can unwind after a busy day.
Whether you’re here for adventure, relaxation, or a little of both, I’m thrilled to share my home and my community with you. Bend has a magic that’s hard to describe — it’s something you just have to experience for yourself, and I can’t wait to welcome you here.

Why they chose this property
When I first discovered the Deschutes Landing neighborhood, it instantly felt like the perfect reflection of everything I love about Bend — peaceful, connected to nature, and just steps from the energy of the Old Mill District. I wanted a place that offered the calm of riverfront living but still allowed me to walk to a morning coffee, an evening concert, or a spontaneous dinner with friends. Deschutes Landing struck that perfect balance.
What truly drew me in was the rhythm of this area — the sound of the river, the mountain views that change with the light, and the sense of community among neighbors who appreciate both adventure and tranquility. It’s a rare blend of urban convenience and natural beauty that’s hard to find anywhere else.
As a longtime Central Oregon resident, I’ve lived in a few different parts of Bend, but this one feels special. You can float the river on a summer afternoon, take a quick bike ride downtown, or simply sit on the deck and listen to the water move past — all without ever getting in the car. It’s where the best parts of Bend converge.
Choosing this neighborhood wasn’t just about location; it was about lifestyle. It embodies what I value most — connection, comfort, and that easy flow between outdoor adventure and laid-back living. I couldn’t imagine a better place to welcome guests and share the Bend experience I’ve come to cherish.

What makes this property unique
What makes this home stand out isn’t just its location — it’s the way every detail captures the spirit of Bend. When we remodeled the townhome, we wanted it to feel like a true retreat — modern, luxurious, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Every space was designed to bring the outdoors in: the wide windows framing the Deschutes River, the mountain views that shift with the seasons, and the soft glow of sunset reflecting off the water.
Unlike most homes in Bend, this one sits right along the river trail, just steps from the Old Mill District. Guests can walk to concerts, restaurants, and boutiques in minutes — yet when you return home, it feels peaceful and private. You can sip coffee on the deck as paddleboarders drift by, grill dinner in the fenced patio garden, or cozy up by the fire while snow falls over the riverbanks.
Inside, we blended the comfort of a boutique hotel with the warmth of a family home. High-end finishes meet thoughtful touches — a stocked kitchen for home chefs, plush bedding for deep sleep, a desk nook for remote work, and art that reflects the landscape just outside.
To me, this property represents the best of Bend living: luxury without pretense, nature at your doorstep, and the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s a place to feel at home, to reconnect, and to experience the rhythm of the river that makes this part of Central Oregon so unforgettable.
