Great Location

The property was in a great location between two major roads for getting around, but in a quiet neighborhood. We were close enough to walk to restaurants, stores, and the grocery store despite the heat. It was the perfect size and very quiet and clean. And that bed was amazing!

The location was great. The host was very responsive. The photos are quite deceiving as the apartment had no flooring other than a single small area rug. The bathroom was tiny with minimal amenities and awful water pressure. The apartment was old and generally run down.

Good location and very comfortable place

The place is very nice, well located, central, ideal for visiting HOU. What I didn't like is that when I booked, the check-in time said 4 pm and on the day of the reservation they sent me a message saying they would let me in from 4 to 6 pm which doesn't match the reservation description and at the end of the day they didn't let me in until 6 pm, that is, the limit, two hours later... so this doesn't seem fair to me since check-in is already late and they ask you check out early at 10 am so it doesn't seem fair to me at all... only this I would say but everything else was good.

The day before check-in, they sent a message saying check-in would be whenever the cleaning staff were done, sometime between 4pm-6pm. The listing says 4pm and we planned our trip around getting there at 4pm, so I immediately complained. Thankfully, the property owner was very nice and agreed to get us in by 4pm. When we arrived, the water was shut off and the tv didn't work. Contacted again and the owner had both fixed in about an hour or so. Now, the actual place was not near as nice as the pictures and listing appear. The cabinets were wonky and some didn't shut, the sink was cracked down, the tiles were painted over and chipping, etc. It was fine, just not what we expected. Then, things were dirty. The floor was gross and covered in hair, the coffee pot had old baked in coffee at the bottom, etc. Not disgusting, just didn't feel actually clean. We also realized the second day that there was no hot water, but we were only staying two nights so we decided to just ride it out. Now, the patio was so adorable, and the location was amazing. And the owner was very responsive and nice. So it wasn't a total bust, but it was rough and we would have rather stayed some place else.
