Nice place. Plenty of room for family of five plus dog. Game room fun with the kids. Off the beaten path, not near accessible water, hot tub foamed (a lot). Mammoth caves are 40 minutes away. Overall would recommend.
If you are looking for a great stay, look no further. The property was very nice and clean. The kids enjoyed the arcade and the hot tub. The kitchen was super well equipped - we cooked on the Blackstone grill & the oven, and there were paper plates, aluminum foil, spices for cooking, everything you need. Location was close enough for a Walmart delivery the night we arrived to get us stocked up for the stay. We had a very relaxing time and really appreciated the communication from the property managers to make sure everything was taken care of. Laundry facilities were also nicely equipped, and there were plenty of towels for the hot tub. Everything was nice and new! A great trip!
The house was extremely clean and very well stocked with supplies. We had many adventures exploring the caves and after tiring ourselves out the hot tub was perfect to get ready for the next day!
The game room was the highlight of our stay for my "boys" that include my husband. I loved the nature visible from the porch. Tyler is extremely easy to reach and on top of taking care of things. I especially appreciated the washer and dryer...a must for our road trip! The half bath does not have a separate door from the bedroom in which it is located which was unexpected but worked out fine. If you are considering this property ...book it!
We had a blast at the cabin! Our boys loved love loved the game room, the yard to play in, the hot tub and camp fire. There’s plenty of space inside! Fully stocked kitchen, spacious bedrooms, seating areas inside and out. We felt totally relaxed in this home and with it being tucked away in the woods, it was nice to listen and rock on the long covered porch. Games to play inside, plenty of towels for the shower and hot tub, even a perfect spot to put our small dogs cage in the foyer. We’d definitely book here again in the future! Thank you for your hospitality!
The house is adorable and just what we were looking for to get away for the weekend with grandparents before school starts. The house is so cute with an amazing outdoor space to enjoy the country. The hot tub and game room were a huge plus for the kids. We were close to Nolin lake (it was closed due to flooding) and we visited mammoth cave. Tyler gave recommendations for us to pivot our plans and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area. Overall a clean place to stay that is pet friendly and well stocked for everything you may need. A perfect vacation to recharge and get back in touch with nature.
We stayed 4 nights to hike the caves and explore the area. Everything about our stay was perfect! We loved the cabin. The location was great, nice and secluded but still within reason to explore. We didn't drive more than hour to get to all the places we wanted to go. The cabin was so clean, smelled good, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was fantastic. We were so excited about the Blackstone and cooked on it everyday!! The beds were soft, it was quiet and peaceful. The host was easy to communicate with and even let us check in any time the day we were arriving. We couldn't be more happy with our stay. We are telling all our friends about it and plan to go back again! Best VRBO experience we have ever had!!

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! Would love to host you guys again sometime. If you come back be sure to check out Nolin lake state park and its trails. There are some short family friendly hikes and even a beach area for the kids. It was closed this year due to the heavy rains and water levels, but should be back in business next year!
Small, family owned business- ran by a husband and wife team! We pride ourselves on providing quality accommodations and exceptional customer service.
Why they chose this property
The Nolin lake area is near and dear to our hearts. My wife Missy spent the summers in her youth relaxing with her family near these waters, and now we share these same past times with our children.
We just love the people and the area.
What makes this property unique
Our cabin is nestled in a secluded little holler that provides a lot of privacy. There isn’t any through traffic, and there is only one other property past this house (which we happen to own as well), so it tends to be nice and quiet.
The screen door leading out to the front porch is probably one of my favorite features. I just love to have the front door open, especially in the fall!
