Worst check in experience. I received an email from VBRO about 1 week before our stay saying i should have received check in instructions. I have not recieved them yet so i messaged the host about 4 days before our stay, again the day before check in with no response. I messaged again about noon day of check in again with out a response. I called the host first answered with loud music or tv in the background and i couldn't hear the person speaking. I called back and got to speck with the host this time. By now it is 3pm, check in time, and the host seemed surprised we were ready to check in. He said he needed to check with the maid service and would get back to me. When he got back to me he said it still needed to be cleaned, we could check in at 6. He told us to go to a close mall or in and out burgers. I called VBRO and the did not help. Online VBRO states to try and work it out with the host before contacting VBRO. VBRO did offer us 120 credit for our next booking. The host also refunded us 300 for inconvenience. Once we did get into the house the trash was thrown out into the back yard and the fire alarm was going off like when the battery is dead. This is something the maids should of addressed. The yard was not mowed. One reason we picked the house was the outside games. But they were not complete. The living room tv did not work. Property details stated fully stocked kitchen, it did not have the essentials. Neighborhood was iffy.
