I booked this beautiful home for a guys trip to attend the Gateway Dirt Nationals in December. Being across the street from Budweiser made is convenient to attend the tour that I had booked. The bar next door gave us a place to grab a bite and a couple beers before heading out to explore the sites. Uber rides from this location to downtown were only about 6 minutes long. The basement Speakeasy was unreal, with the bar, poker table, Golden Tee golf game and TV, we actually skipped going to the races and just stayed in the basement and streamed the race on the flatscreen. I highly recommend checking this place out the next time you're planning a trip to Saint Louis!
This home is such a gem. Beautiful inside and out! The location is perfect and walkable to Anheuser-Busch Brewery and Biergarten. We had a wonderful time and would definitely love to stay again.
This property is a beautiful, historic home in a great location. There were 2 couples in our group and we had plenty of space for the 5 nights we were there. There are 2 second floor queen bedrooms and a small room with twin beds. There is another large bedroom on the third floor. The basement game room and bar is a cool space. We thought we would use it a lot but only went down there our first night. We never could get the fire pit out back working. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had to contact him a few times during our stay. Jeremy was very prompt with responses and whatever assistance we needed. We did 2 tours at Anheuser Busch and both were fantastic: Clydesdale VIP tour and Day Fresh tour. We also went to 2 Cardinals games. Easy drive to stadium parking - we bought All Star Lot reserved tickets right across the street. It's a beautiful stadium although the food was very expensive and wasn't very good. It's a short drive to downtown, Forest Park and the Zoo. Make sure you go for dinner on The Hill if you like Italian food - there are so many restaurants so it's difficult to choose. We ate at Mama's on The Hill and it was delicious! Huge portions for a reasonable price. The only drawback to this location for me was the interstate across the street and the traffic noise. I live in a quiet neighborhood and the traffic noise was very loud to me. It would not stop me from staying here again, though. The house was fantastic!
We have stayed in quite a few short term rentals while traveling for work and vacations and this is by far my favorite! The house itself is beautiful and in a great location. Walking distance to several different places to eat and an easy drive into St Louis. If we are ever back in the St Louis area this is the house that I will want to stay in!
The house was great. It was close to everything and in a up and coming part of town. The game room was wonderful for the kids and family time. There was plenty of room for everyone.
What a beautiful home! There were 7 adults in our party and we were all very comfortable. The house had everything we needed and we couldn’t have been in a better location with lots to do around us. The deli next door had really good food. Great service! I highly recommend this home and hosts!
Host was thoughtful! They even went out of their way to drop off an iron and ironing board! House was clean, beautiful and a wonderful place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer!
The owners were awesome. Very quick to respond to any questions/clarifications. The property has all of the necessities for a vacation. The property is well maintained and in great shape for a home built in 1901. The Soulard area is a great place to be. Walking distance to many places. Access to the property was seamless when I received the information. Easy in and out. The speak easy basement is awesome and also has a door to walk out to the nice backyard area. My friends and I would gladly stay there again in the future and I would also recommend this property to any other friends and family traveling to the area.
What an amazing property! We have stayed at many rentals and this one is one of the best. The house is clean, has great amenities, and the small details do not go unnoticed, like the soaps, shampoo, lotion, coffee, laundry detergent, and plenty of trash bags, tissues, etc. It was super hot when we stayed and Jeremy even dropped off an extra fan for us. The location is great, the beds are comfy, the outdoor space is primed for relaxing, and overall, the property is an A.
