About the host
Hosted by Judy McCarley
I was born and raised in Denison. I love living so close to the Red River, where I can drive my Polaris or vehicle to the river and fossil hunt, and bring the fossils back, and put them under my fossil tree at my she shed.
My husband built the little cabin in 2004, and lived there until our house was built in 2005, We have rented the cabin out to long term renters for a long time, and when our last tenant moved out, we decided to keep it available for overflow for our growing family. Our grandkids are getting older and growing so much that we need the extra room. So, we decided to do short term rentals and let others enjoy the tranquility of this secluded property.

Why they chose this property
Our neighborhood is very rural, most everyone has at least 10 acres, we don't have any close neighbors. We live in the county and are very secluded.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique because we have land that has river frontage. Most people in our town don't even realize what kind of property that we have because they can't get to it. My husband has built a boat ramp, so we have our own little private river oasis. All property to the Red River is privately owned. We can ride our Polaris's around, and enjoy fossil hunting, looking for little treasures or just ride around. Most people have to drive 3 hours to get the access we have, right here in Denison. It is absolutely incredible.
