This is an extraordinary property. Located close to everything you need yet feels so private. It's set on a large pristine property with a beautiful lake at your back door.Beds are very comfortable, A/C worked perfectly. The host is very responsive and thoughtful.It's the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing get-a-way.

This little gem of a cabin is the destination for dialing back stress and excess luxury for solid and rewarding time, alone or with family. Many hours on the porch talking while looking at the lake brings back a simpler time but with all the conveniences you need.

A very nice cabin that was very accurately listed. The porch was a godsend as it rained the entire time we were there. In spite of the weather, we were able to entertain family and all was good.

The outside property is beautiful and the interior of the cabin was spotless. The full kichen has all the amenities (Appliances, pots. pans, dishes etc. and including a washer and dryer. The beds in the 2 bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and updated. We loved the view of the lake while sitting on the back porch having breakfast or just some quiet reading time. Our Host Anne was wonderful too. She was immediately available for any questions that we had. It felt like a home away from home. We would definitely like to visit the premises again.

This is a nice cabin style home. Very clean and is pet friendly. Bathroom is a little small and the floor is a little creaky but nice and close to town.

As described online, Timberlake is a 1940's cabin, with original wood floors. The newly remodeled bathroom is accurately depicted in our photos. It's not for everyone, but our returning customers, of which there are many, appreciate the cabin's old style attributes, wildlife, private lake and proximity to town.

Very pleased with the well stock kitchen, and the excellent communication from the host.The area was very convenient to all there is to do around Hendersonville, although it is not quite as secluded as the picture reflected it.The cabin was very comfortable, but the floors were very noisy, probably attributed to the age of the building. This location has everything you could need to spend a relaxing week or weekend and is highly recommended.

This cabin was the perfect peaceful getaway yet also conveniently located near all the restaurants and shops in town. We enjoyed utilizing the fireplace as it was quite cold during our stay. Great stay

Everything about the stay was wonderful. The lake was amazing and it was quiet but close to everything needed. Only complaints i had about the cleaning was the ac in the bedroom looks like it it needs the filter/fin cleaned really good. Other than it was a great stay. Thanks for letting us stay and would love to visit agian in future.

We fell in love with this property and it was perfect for our family. We wanted somewhere to relax and do some fishing and it was exactly that. The dogs loved swimming and running around and enjoyed it just as much as we did. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was very clean and comfy. My favorite part, of course, was the porch overlooking the lake. My husband and brother in law fished non stop! If your looking a for a rustic, cool cabin by the water and close to Hendersonville, this is your spot. I have had 3 people ask me for details. It’s fabulous. You will love it!

Our stay was everything that it was described to be. Private, secluded, pet friendly. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't there for us. Well equipped kitchen and lots of outside amenities from water craft to games/toys. Highlights were mornings on the shady porch sipping coffee and evenings gazing a the stars above and enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature.

Pure bliss

We absolutely loved our stay at Timberlake Cabin! The setting is peaceful and beautiful, with great fishing right on the property. The location is perfect — close to town, but still feels like a true getaway. The cabin itself was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. One of our favorite features was the huge fenced-in yard — our dogs had the time of their lives running and exploring safely. We've already rebooked for two more vacations and truly can't wait to come back!

Built in the 1940's, this cabin on three, private acres, brings old world comfort along with all the conveniences needed for your stay.
